Well what is up, my name is James and this is my channel Major Hardware. By day I'm a Mechanical Engineer, by night I'm a PC/Tech enthusiast. I love checking out new or interesting products doing my best to make them look as good as possible on camera. I also love thinking outside the box, trying to come up with new or interesting ideas on how to test hardware. Quite literally if you can dream it, you can design and build it and that is what i intend to do.
Have a product you think I should look at or want to sponsor a video? Feel free to contact me via email at hardwaremajor@gmail.com
I looked up because I couldn't remember but it looks like forward curved vanes should have higher pressure than backward curved vanes but that might have been for liquids.
Everybody Who made a successful replica of this self propelled hangglider on wheels Had to go out and get a different engine than the original Because it was a crappy engine that was unreliable. Worse yet every replica of this had to throw away his specifications of a wing and propeller and use the wrght brothers wing. And propeller specifications. Although the specifications for wing and propeller that Practically every single piston engine small plane used ever since. A. French aeronautical society was offering a substantial reward for anyone who could come to paris and demonstrate A usable plane with a usable design to them. The wright brothers came late , but your guy never came at all. And where is the footage of him flying figure eight or small circles?
Makes me wonder if another test could show the volume of air moved per sec. While airflow over a component is important, so is air movement over all components.
My 30-YO Honda HR-219 gave up & I was looking for an alternative. Ego seems to be the best of the best, though not a win here. I ran one of these for one season - 1: couldn't pick up leaves in the fall 2: Anemic power to scalp the lawn in the spring. So as a 1:1 replacement for the Honda, this was a fail. These electric mowers do have a slotted use as a simple, main growing season trimmer. Extending the operating envelope beyond this would be a stretch. Cheers, FanBelt32
i think it would be interesting to switch to one of those 10W 12V 120x120x38's from Sunon, that have 234m3/h / 138cfm and 0.36 in h2o / 9.15mmh2o static pressure some fans are spinning slower which i believe is due to the power limit of the Noctuas, the A12x25 is limited to 1.7W
you will probably be surprised, but if the machine works incorrectly or does not work, then the operator is to blame, not the machine itself! And yes, a 3 d printer is not a "microwave oven" in any way, even bambulab will not work correctly without supervision. Why the printer could not print the model ?There is only one answer, the author does not know what he is doing..Or as they say in my country "your hands groove from your ass"😉
As it stands now, the Wonder from Downunder definitely shouldn't win the entire season, because in its current form, it's completely useless in a traditional PC case. It's is a great proof of concept design that can be reworked to give it a more "traditional" fan design for practicality.
Ok, SEASON 6, where are the fan curves? At this point it might be time to grab the top X performers in all categories and thoroughly test them to figure out what is the absolutely best possible fan design!
Hello. Please tell me, to create models, I need a special program (3d max, Maya), and after making a model in 3d max, I send the file to the printer, right? I have a problem, my laptop is weak for 3d max, in this case I could not make objects for the printer myself, and I can only take ready-made files somewhere? how does it usually work?)
