To the real world, I'm just an ordinary salaryman, but secretly with the help of my friends and gadgets, I take videos and upload them online. It started as a way for me to share my thoughts on stuffs but in doing so, I learnt a whole new world about film making.
I found the drivers online, but I just CAN'T pry the sticks apart to work on them! Had them since they came out in 2001 or 2001, but one of the tweeters had come loose and was vibrating annoyingly. Scoring the seam to loosen the housing did nothing, these babies are stuck together too well. IF ANYONE knows how to open these up when they don't cooperate as they did on this video, I'd love to hear. I've put them aside for now and bought Soundsticks 4 on sale, much more expensive than a replacement tweeter which would have been satisfactory. I'm hanging on to the originals and hoping someday I can recondition them, if I can ever get them open!
The creator replied to a comment 10 months ago saying it’s held up well. He still uses the same umbrella. He did mention he’d had to replace the leather strap.
@@Stayingfrostee use tiny dabs of clear caulking like dap all purpose acrylic latex caulk plus silicone in clear. it will hold but still be removable for future repairs. do not use super glue, it will melt the two halves together and you may crack or break them if you try pulling them apart again.
Hi there! I’m still using the same umbrella. I’ve just used it yesterday. I had to replace the leather hand strap though, that didn’t survive Singapore’s weather.
Assuming only 1 switch is broken, you can bridge each switch 1 by 1 and test if the blaster now works. By bridging, it means to use a piece of wire or metal to connect the 2 pins of the switch to simulate as if the switch is closed. If after doing that and the blaster is still not working, it is possible that you may have more than 1 switch broken. If so, bridge all the switches at the same time and see if it works. If it does, then remove the bridges 1 by 1 until the blaster stops working to see which are the broken switches. Hope this helps!
The time gap between a brand new speaker and the replaced speaker was too large to compare. But I'm still using this repaired speaker and they sound great to me.
Hello there! I also bought something similar but the difference in sound quality with originals is... Quite a bit. Can anyone suggest a good part to replace? I see endless in aliexpress... Which are the specs of those speakers (size / watt / ohm)? Thanks for sharing this video :)
It's in the description. :) www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002454861252.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.260f7ac6rtxvPj&algo_pvid=8c2491e0-bf1b-403c-a2bd-f24bb305dd5f&algo_exp_id=8c2491e0-bf1b-403c-a2bd-f24bb305dd5f-3&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22sku_id%22%3A%2212000020719032760%22%7D
I can’t say for sure. If you have it lying around, then there’s no harm trying. If you need to buy it, then I suggest getting something that has been tested. Hope this helps!
You'll need to open up the panel at the lower rear of the chair. There's a button at the bottom (it's not the triangle button, it's further down), press that to open the panel and install a power bank. To change the color, press the triangle button.
@@denas4051 No problem. That makes both of us, I am trying to re-holster this chair and even the folks at DXRacer can't give me the info. Please note that this chair will eventually peel, and when it does, you may wish to consider one of those gaming chair covers. All the best!
Hi there. I’d try to see if there’s any loose wirings along the faulty speaker. Assuming nothing was damaged, you can try to clean the contacts with isopropyl alcohol. Hope that works. Good luck!
@@Area73x Which contacts are you referring to here!? Are you talking about the contacts the indivual 4 speakers inside the clear casing? I have examined the connection near the subwoofer and they all seem ok. Is it possible to replace the module that BOTH speakers are connected to?
The Speaker that does NOT play a sound is the ONE with the Volume tabs (Plus and Minus ). And these tabs work where I can MUTE and UnMute the entire sound! This tells me that the wiring connection to this speaker is OK, but somehow still no sound comes out of the actual speakers ! Could it be that the individual speakers have gone bad!? But they were working fine 2 weeks ago. It is possible to re-set the controller board of the Soundstick 2?!
can u please tell me everything i need to fix the gun? i already know i need soldering iron for this but other than that do i need like a new motor to replace it? can anyone please tell me
It depends on what is broken. If the motor is burnt, then yes, you'll need to replace it. To find out, the easiest way is to connect batteries directly to the motor and see if it spins. If it spins, then likely only the switches and/or wire is broken. Test every single wire to see if electricity is passing through to find out the root cause. You can test the wire by connecting the battery to the motor using the wire; same thing for switches.
I am so confused i bought this chair a couple of years ago from amazon and only now found out about the rgb possibilities. However, i opened the back, just to find that it doesn‘t have a battery installed.

I haven't. I'm in between lodgings right now, so I haven't been making videos. I'm currently working on a product, a card game of my own: instagram.com/greeblegames/ Maybe you'll be interested? Thank you for your concern, I will resume video making as soon as it is feasible. :)
@@Area73x No problem. I was going through my RU-vid subscription list and saw that your channel has been inactive for a long time. I was wondering if you were OK. I started following you a few years ago with your review of a backpack. I can't buy many things you review because we are in different countries.
Haha! Thanks for your support. Don’t unsubscribe me just yet. I’ll be back once I settle down with my new place, hopefully in 2023. COVID’s a bitch, so fingers crossed!
@@Area73x No worry. Make videos when you have time. You also don't have to record only at home. I remember that you made videos at shopping malls, or the airport or out in a field (flying airplanes) and they were fine. It takes us around Singapore, and that was OK.
There's a little button underneath the chair's power on button (you may have to look under the chair to see it). Press that to remove the cover and you'll see the power bank. Carefully pry open the retaining clips and unplug the cable. With the power bank, you can plug into any DC to USB power source to charge. Hope this helps!
Just got a similar one for airsoff the dent is barely 1mm when shot its 4m from a G19 from WE. But I suggest not to use it for air rifles at 6m using H&N sport .177 pellets the depth of peneration is 1mm I used a M4 .177 from Crossman. Durability wise it will last for years if your using a nerf gun or airsoft.
Nicely Done. I thought maybe this video could solve my speaker problems because after not using these speakers for over a year the speakers sounded terrible and one was pushing about half volume. The membranes look fine looking from outside the speakers. I decided maybe if I separated the plastic of the speakers by scoring along the sides of the 2 speakers I could get a better look see. After scoring of over 5 min. on one speaker with no luck I felt maybe I was just scoring plastic and not the glue holding the speakers together. A bit frustrating :) Any thought about the sound/ scoring problem would be appreciate.
It does sound like you are scoring the plastic. Try using a small flathead screwdriver and jam it in the slit where the 2 plastic meet and give it a twist. Repeat along the slit until the 1 parts separate. Hope this works!
@@Area73x Thanks. I was actually having fun after I was able to separate the casing :) I changed the tweeters and cleaned the connecters , now I have sound. The music from the sound sticks sound a bit anemic, almost like missing any mid @ low end. I checked the Sub knob, it works but its output sound seems to go from 0-20% from where it was 0-100- % . I'm not sure if any of the electrons or power connections are not functioning at 100% or if the 320-0002-000 subwoofer needs replacing. Have you any insight if the 320-002-000 ITS-225C is replaceable ? Any thoughts would be appreciative.
@@deadline7610 Glad to hear that there's progress. I've not worked on the subwoofer but I feel that it should be replaceable.Try to see if there's any replacement parts from AliExpress. Additionally, I'd also try to disconnect the wires from the new tweeters and reconnect them again to rule out the possibility of a poor connection. This is what I'd do to approach the problem. Sorry, but no real experience to share for this. Hope this helps!
