Looking forward to seeing you at future events. Great showing for a first timer and knowing that you were also filming content. Thats a lot to handle on a comp day. The drone footage was awesome too.
Great video!! I love seeing all my friends there miss them all. I’ll be there for round 3 unfortunately it’s only 1 event this year but I think it’s gonna be awesome
@@winstonsmith8383 I'm going to my first drift comp this Saturday at RC Car World. I plan on filming the experience and posting soon after. Thanks for your support!
is there a direct video on how to set up the remote to the receiver? I see you brought yours to someone that has knowledge. I dont want to screw things up and we do not have a drift track where we live. Thanks
@andrehardy4909 rc car world in New Jersey is where we go usually however First State Hobbies in Newark has there track layed and will be getting work done soon so we will be going there often.
I added the Team AD steering Mod and it made a noticeable difference , as regards the slop in the slide rack , Just use your finger to push the front bearing up flush against the slide rack when its loosened off , then tighten the screw from the bottom through the elongated hole and push it towards the slide rack while gently nipping it up, needs checking every 10/20 hours , You need to do this even with the Team AD direct drive adapter. Feels like a much better front end with this mod.
I'm not sure about fitment with anything specifically designed for the MD 1.0 but I know there are a ton of upgrades for the YD2 steering and battery tray.
That Evil Dead shotgun prop you've got on your work bench. Was that a 6" figure? It seems like the 6" figures might scale pretty well with 1:10 scale RC. You ever put the figure beside one of your cars? I don't have any of my Star Wars 6" figures left, since letting go of that collection, but I, by memory, can't decide if they'd scale well, or if they'll be a tad small. There's tons of 6" scale diorama stuff for those collections, that would come in real handy in a set up like you've got here. Which btw, is absolutely wonderful! The attention to detail here, is top notch man! I just have to wonder, how in the world you have found the time, to not only have the RC passion, and all the time/money it demands, because we know, just as much time is spent turning the allen wrench as turning the foam wheel lol. To be able to keep your cars up, at the level you do, and fabricate their home to this level, is really impressive! Clearly you have worked very hard in life, so I'm happy for you, that you can find time to have this much fun as well. Too many of us, don't do this for ourselves, and are none the happier for it.
You are correct! Ash is a 6" figure from NECA and I feel the scale is pretty close. Thank you for all the compliments. It is a challenge to find time for all my hobbies that's for sure. I work full time and have a family as well so finding that balance is a continuous challenge but alot of late nights have helped with getting things completed. When the family is sleep that small window allows me to work on hobbies and I will sacrifice some of my sleep to get things done. Still much I want to do to the garage. Thank you for all your support!
@@edriftin very good sir. Careful not to sacrifice too much sleep though. I've found out the hard way, a good 6 hours a day, is about the least our brains need to work well the next day. But, that does provide a couple extra "me time" hours a day, if the wife is contented enough that is lol. No law about going to bed for a half hour, then dippin out when you hear that 1st snore though lmao.
4 screws on upper deck???? Lol... manual says 3 screws, and i use only 2. 2 in front plus 2 in rear. It gets some flexibility and my steering rack has no wobbles at all. It's soft tightened and works very well 😊
Nice! Do you have the limited edition MD1.0 or the other? The reason I ask is that the manuals are different depending on which you have. Limited edition has addendums for the manual that came with the other version.
Not sure about any outside tracks around me but I think you would need to change the tires to something more firm and possibly change the suspension settings to run on blacktop.
i am just getting this controller set up finally got mine up and going burnt the stock ESC by crossing my battery wires bone head rookie move . good excuse to upgrade though. your series is great since I pretty much got mine as a RTR.
@@edriftin Then it is good. It almost same type of radio that you have.. I have screen on my controller and cam on mine if i want:) I edited because i did not see you had answer me:) On the ESC question.
Yes! Worked perfectly. I ended up flipping the Servo with the horn more towards the rear when I got my turn buckle kit it came with the longer steering linkage.
