Honestly it's great out of the box. It drifts really smooth. Only thing I would keep a eye on is the steering servo. The stock one did not last me one whole battery.

I just did my first pinion upgrade recently and i got a great response for a cheap upgrade.

The 2.5 Rtr are extremely popular so they are difficult to get. I got lucky and found mine from a hobby store on ebay but Amain had pre-orders that took 3 months to get them.

@@edriftin thanks I’m deciding to get into rock crawling or drifting I might get a 1/24 scale rock crawler then drifter later

@natekoro8594 haha nice! I just got bit by the rock crawler bug as well so I went ahead and just ordered the RC4WD TF2 Scottsdale. I'm in so deep now lol 😆

There is a couple different classes of rc drift car. AWD all wheel drive and RWD rear wheel drive. This one is a RWD. The gearbox is setup to spin the tires quickly and the gyro is connected to the steering so when you slide the car will countersteer to keep the car in a drift easier.
