When I defeated Giganto, I thought that was it, and that the game was relatively short, because of the Super Sonic fight. Only for me to be surprised when Ares Island popped up.
note to others watching: if u have other characters with custom character slot, this wont work for u. some reason this character css manager thing doesnt work with multiple css, there probably is another way but they are gatekeeping it from us.

as a sonic kid who's now 27, the amount of hype and just pure awe makes me feel like i'm a kid again in space fighting a lizard with live and learn hyping me up, probably the strongest sense of nostalgia i have ever felt, pure whiplash from it
also the fact that so far, two of them have said 'lets go' in the beginning PERFECTLY synced with the 'GO' in the song and that's just peak fandom synergy
I have a question. I've been using some of the moveset mods for Waluigi, Sandbag, Alucard, and a few others, and those mods all add extra slots on the CSS for those characters. I assumed the creators of those mods used this method to do that, but when I tried to add a new slot for Cattail's Nahobino mod using this method, the game crashes when booting up. I tested with the mod and the css plugin and then the plugin by itself and confirmed that the plugin is the issue. I looked in the ui folders for Waluigi and the other moveset mods I have, and none of them have the ui_chara_db or ui_layout_db files. Some don't even use the param/database folders used here, and the ones that do have a param folder go param/standard and they have a standard_route_'charactername'.prc. So my question is, what the hell? Maybe I'd get a better answer from the creators of those mods, but this really threw a wrench in my plan because it seems like this method is just incompatible with the other mods I have.
I think we're gonna have to make them ourself idk, but I also heard this tool is incompatible with 3.02. So disappointing they're not making this easy as can be already.
@@NeededByNobody I figured it out. Those moveset mods already have a ui_chara_db.prcx and stuff included, so what I had to do was delete those and use the CSS manager to make the slots for them myself, and put the edited prc files in its own folder in the mods folder. Works perfectly now 👌
@NeededByNobody I think so? I don't see why it wouldn't because you supply the tool with the files that you have. But if you heard that it's not compatible with that version then it probably isn't. Couldn't hurt to try though. Why not just update your game though?
Facts about super sonic and giganto 1 Super sonic can drown in the final boss fight I was glitched bellow the ground and started to drown 2 gigantos laser can be parried and sonic will just fly inside of it unfazed 3 giganto is the only boss that attacks in the cyloop other than the end in the final horizon 4 this boss fight is PEAK 5 it’s implied super sonic could’ve beat the end with out super 2 and super 1 can still damage the end 6 Giganto has the only Insta kill move that can be regular parried
Hey, I know this is unrelated, but I recently downloaded the CSS Manager from Kofi and was wondering how exactly the announcer call works. In 'toggle options', is it possible to list a new chara_call_(ID Name) of a modded character, like Mecha Sonic, even if it's technically a Dark Samus replacement? I'd obviously prefer to use CSS Manager for this if possible, as it's easy on the eyes lol.

Is there a reason CSS Manager might not be saving the prc files? I compared the saved ones to the originals I got from data.arc and the files appear to be the exact same. My prc doesn't have that 121 file when looking at the prc editor, It always seems to stop at 120 no matter how many times I repeat these steps.
I got it working perfectly, but what if I want to keep the original music for default costumes? I don't have the original nus3audio files or the original theme songs. Is downloading the original victory themes online and replacing them as #1 the only option to keep the originals?
This moment was so incredible, I felt like I just beat the game and expected a cutscene before the credits. I was content with the game being short given how great it was. Then the game's like "lol nah, im not done with you yet"

I'm not fucking with you, Sonic Frontiers has more positive reception than Sonic Adventure 2. This truly may be the revival of the series. If Sega keeps Ian Flynn and realizes who their target audience TRULY is.. We may get a good future for Sonic.
