Hey, it's AP and I want to help you learn how to make it, build it or fix it. From household appliances to cosplay, model making to custom furniture there’s something for everyone here so subscribe today and start, well, making, building or fixing!
This channel started as a way for me to chronicle the stuff I make, build and fix; however, I want to see this become a place of inspiration for the budding DIY enthusiast. I’m not a master at anything, but I have a lot of interests like a lot of you out there, and it doesn’t take much to bring your ideas and passions to life. If I can help encourage you to stop planning and start doing, then my job is done.

About a year ago our dishes cleanliness started to deteriorate. A white greasy residue would be left primarily on plastic. I researched high and low about dishwasher not cleaning well and everything was about impellers and filters and vinegar. THIS VIDEO got to the real issue: LACK OF HEAT! It makes sense (now) that heat is crucial to melting away the gunk on the dishes! Ten bucks and a new float sensor later, a dishwasher headed for the dumpster lives again! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I can't believe I'm so excited about a dishwasher but whatever.
So, was the idea to put sweets down the back inside your home, allowing kids to pick them from the jaws of the sandworm 🤔 smart! Maybe you should try and make it do some sort of sandworm sound effects as part of the theme! P,s nothing will stop kids from sitting on it, thinking it's real XD
@@MADEbyAP The only character we seem to like more is that Sandworm before poor old Bob who was used more of an toy to be used when Beetlejuice had to try and hide from his old wife!
Can you please list the materials you used, esp the lip foam you used around the edges of the mouth, thx! Wonderful project, goin ti make one this year!
They should call it a multi-function switch. It contains a float switch to control water level but it also contains a thermistor to control heating element cycling and for reasons only GE knows, they make garbage parts where the thermistors don't last and end up "shorting out" as you showed where the old one doesn't have enough resistance to tell the control board to energize the heating element so it never comes on. The heating element is used with or without water...it can heat water to help sanitize and it can heat air to help dry. The thermistor lowers its resistance as temperature rises to ensure there is never boiling water nor burning plastic because as the resistance lowers so does the voltage drop and the control board will only energize the heating element with a certain amount of required voltage drop. Once the thermistor has a permanently low resistance value, the heating element will no longer "work" because the control board won't let it.
It’s a shame that they just can’t make parts that last or aren’t multifunction (increasing the failure points). That being said, way better than hand washing g these things 🤣 Thanks for the note!
I’m not producing these for sale but if you head over to the Badelley printed droid Facebook group you may find one. Or join the forums at astromech.net.
Incidentally the robot will not fall off the table it comes to the edge and balances. The one issue is long women hare it damages the roller brush. In my house I have tree women member and lots of long hare the hare gets entangled and damages the grish. This is so bethibg one has to be aware of
Great video, appreciate the step-by-step process. Weird youTube decided to show this to me 4 months after you posted it. I'm on the road to doing most of these upgrades to my Spirit pack, especially need to add the Alice Frame. Will also do some cosmetics, and swap wand for Spengler wand like Make it or Break it had done in his videos. Would you be able to post the nut / screw / washers you used to secure the Alice Frame? No problem if it's way to late since I am sure you handed this pack off to your friend. Thanks!
Thank you! And sorry for the delay in getting back to you. It was a combination of these (amzn.to/4d5eJT2) and some washers and nuts I had in the shop. I hope that helps!
@@MADEbyAP thanks for getting back to me. All these videos of folks upgrading spirits pack got me off my butt so I can be ready for Halloween and the Calgary comic expo in the spring! I'll keep watching! Thanks again.
There are TONS of reference photos in each of the magazines that come with the kit. There was also a website awhile back that had even better photos. I’ll see if I can dig it up!
Oh no! Fanhome still backed up? Or were you a victim of the great model space debacle of 2022? Check out some of the FB groups. I ended up having to buy a pack off eBay because model space was out of commission for like nine months. It was the pack with the circuit board in it. It was ridiculous.
@@MADEbyAP can you explain to me mechanically what’s happening when you have a dirty condenser coil? What’s going on with the refrigerant, how come it’s not cooling? You made the video so I’m sure you’re qualified to speak on the subject, correct?
From IFixIt: Note: If there is a thin plastic film on your replacement battery, do not attempt to remove it. It is glued on and protects the battery pack while it is inside the MacBook.
THIS is the video ive been looking for. i dont have the money or time to build a spreader, but i have 10 of these clamps. hopefully they'll provide enough force to spread the metal frame stiffeners fpr my solid axle swap project. i did this with some of my long bar spresders but theyre too flimsy, theyre for wood after all. i hadnt thought about this though.
I’m gonna try something like this. I saw the witches and want them but I despise battery powered and want either electric or solar so im going to have to steal this as a base I think
