Hey, I'm Andy! My videos explore the latest technology that makes life more efficient by saving time, money, or energy.
I'm a big fan of innovative yet easy-to-use tech with an emphasis on brands like Tesla and Apple. But I love competition and am excited to see what's next in terms of sustainable technology.
I became a Tesla Model 3 owner in 2018 and quickly became the world's #1 Tesla referrer with over 1,000 people becoming Tesla owners after watching my RU-vid videos.
The main goal of this channel is to help you enjoy & understand this new digital age by providing you with educational & entertaining videos that will help you get the most out of technology, whether it's the latest smart gadget review or a video explaining which new electric vehicle is right for you.

In every single video of Tesla being driven for a long time or long distances there is a list of things that needed to be repaired and it's like it's nothing it was under warranty just small things.. in my Honda I I am at 150,000 miles and haven't had a single thing needed to be repaired. It's not like some small things were so small I don't mention them I mean not a single thing. Nothing clicking nothing scratching nothing stopped working it's like the first day I bought it.
Would Tesla really be that stupid to show battery health at 7% if it meant that it was 93% good? Elon needs to hire some different marketing people if that is true.
Feels like you should have adjusted your analysis to current cost. ...and as many mentioned depreciation. It's pretty amazing that it worked out so similar. Not sure if you got a bad one but my Tesla 3 hasn't had any maintenance that wasn't covered by the warranty, perhaps you could or should have used averages for Tesla too. ...and I'm a low mileage person. So that could be something to vary. ...Good video as usual.
Dude some ppl live in condo or apartment no charger they have to use supercharger. I use supercharger once a week and used for the week. My battery is fine.
I like that you included the kWh consumed to reach 100,000 Miles, and that you remembered to factor in charging inefficiencies. With that I was able to do the math given my own electricity rates, and compare the MPG of my current car using my local fuel costs. I would have saved several thousand more than you did! Can't wait to be in a position to buy one of these.
Charge to %100 and find a hotel at your destination that has a charger are the two biggest hints. I 6.6kw charger at your destination can put you back to %100 overnight. Beware of hotels that have one charger for like 10 cars.
My question IS?!?!?!? I can’t decide weather if getting a model3 2024 long range or the RWD … the RWD drive has those special new batteries as to the long range doesn’t BUT has more miles … idk what to do someone plz help
Logitech MX ergo is garbage. Bought 2 years ago. Took good care of it. It has great ergonomics, and it's really comfortable, BUT the built quality is horrendous. After only 2 years of moderate use, the left mouse button and middle mouse button misfire all the time. Tried cleaning it, it keeps skipping clicks. It's awful. Can't even drag a window without trying multiple times. Similar problems with Logitech keyboards. I strongly recommend you stay away from Logitech products as a rule of thumb.
It's an overall cool video, well done! Seems like a pretty nice car. But when you were speaking about the brake pads/discs not wearing down and saying that it is a "win-win situation" I had to protest. I have recently been at a mechanic shop for 3 weeks, working on cars. And at one point there was a Volkswagen ID.3 in the shop, which is an electric car that has regen-braking like the rest of the lineup. However, during the control the brake discs were rusting pretty heavily, so we had to recommend the owner to sometimes do some hard braking, which makes sense. Because your brakes are meant to be used constantly, not to sit around and barely be used. Sorry for writing a complete essay here, but I just wanted to share my opinion. As long as you do some hard braking sometimes you should be fine! :) Also just noticed that I am 2 years late here, but let's forget that!
We just got ours and I got it from American freight scratch and dent for $1400 bucks what a steal! And I’m not kidding when I say the “dent” is basically invisible on the side and I never even see the sides first day I had it I used it from sun up to sun down and loved lit worked flawlessly I hated laundry now I don’t mind it no more annoying back and forth forgetting it in wash I get home from work my clothes are dirty I slap them in this bad boy before bed and when I get up for work guess what they are washed and dry awesome love it! I did the weather stripping mod also few days after and that sure helps with lint getting past the filter no worries now
Nice compare, I was thinking buy new Higland version for 43k€. Comparing with Audi, maintenance and more tires for Tesla I have more savings with Tesla.
how can you can it might be good for people who need a good utilitarian truck if you literally have only tested it as a car? you didn't do a single truck thing with it
My sisters husband me let drive his model y and it’s trippy how it starts to stop when you let off the gas ❤ smooth ride tho. 60 in 3 seconds was insane
Paying more for insurance for Tesla than I do for my Toyota and paid half what you paid for a Tesla and my resale value is remains high. Also never worried where I could find fuel. ICE is the future but prices have to come down and a standard, easy to understand of pricing, and charging seatings that work when you use them has to happen. Last time I got gas I did not need an app and the car on the same pump next to me did not effect the amount of gas and speed of my fillup.
Wait!!! you said you “saved over 5 thousands gallons of gasoline over the years”. I am curious, how do you charge ur Tesla? I don’t believe ur model 3 qualifies for lifetime free charging at those superchargers. And if you have been charging at home, do you get free electricity? Why don’t you factor in the amount of $$ you have spent in charging? you working for Tesla ?oh wait! Ur Tesla just magically charged itself up when it’s low?
In Moscow, Russia, these days 1 kWh costs around 6.5 rubles, which is about $0.07... So, back to your numbers: 265 Wh/mile is around 25.8 kWh per 100 miles. That equals 25.8 * 0.07 = $1.8 per 100 miles )))) And there's also a night rate in some areas, which is half the price. That's how it is...
New subscriber here. I have a 2023 MYLR. Do you find that by maintaining a lower state of charge, you get improved watts per mile performance? I used to charge my battery to 80% and I would average about 260 watts per mile. A few months back I changed my charging habits to charge the battery to a max 60-70% ( I currently only charge up to 58%). And while I'm driving, I find I'm using ~220 watts per mile. I'm not sure if it is my driving habits, the weather, my charging habits or a combination of all three.
