What did you decide to do about the lights? I'm also retrofitting an older tour pack to a newer street glide, and not sure on the approach for the light kit.
Those parts are made to break and cheap to replace to that the expensive parts to get broke in the very scenarios that you described. Lol, if they beefed everything all up, you'd be needing a whole new engine or head.
How is it doing still holding up. I got one needs going through to make sure can be rebuilt. It's locked up tight. Even if I get it free up and it runs I'd want it to be rebuilt make sure it be reliable. Or might just sell whole mower cub gt2542. Looks like few months old even though bought 06. Really don't know history of it other than people had it did take good care of it locked up they gave it to me. Hey had new battery and starter on it captain chair perfect shape and one of cleanest decks I've ever seen on used mower really cleanest used mower I've ever seen . Idk don't want put lot in it if motors are not great never had cub. Only second Kohler other one had on tiller 6hp years ago. 35 years I thinking. Lol thanks

I live in Toronto Canada and they use ALOT of salt in the winter. would do this every spring and fall for sure. I never realized how many holes were in rockers, why? to add rust proof it must be. why wouldnt they just put no holes in them and keep them air tight
Just bought one from harbor freight and they came out with new style and the wires are completely different after you cut the plug off Black, blue, brown and yellow with a green line…… rip
I was just searching to buy another. I bought mine about 7 years ago, it sat in storage for about 3 years and I've started using it a whole lot again. Recently slid it under a 1000 pound work bench on one side and was able to lift the other side and drag it around no problem.
All i did was a quick study of the checkm8. Literally cut a 3/8 triangle out of the crankcase section of the gasket.. Do not comingle the trans venting gasket section to the crankcase section.. not ever...

Hello Ken I watched your video and am extremely impressed on how you take your mechanical knowledge and apply it to a motor your never previously experienced. I have a 2015 CFMotto 800 motor that I would very much like to have you rebuild for me. I would be removed from the side by side and either delivered to you or shipped to you with freight costs both ways paid separate. If this is not an option I will attempt it on my own but will be paying CLOSE attention to your video. Either way thanks for your instructions and knowledge.

So my walker had the same issues, bought a new hydro and put it on and it didn’t resolve the issue. My right side is still slow compared the left. Help?!?
