who needs 36" stroke? thing needs 8 way wedge and 24" stoke is more than enough for 99% of people who burn wood. everyone I know heats with wood and none would want the giant wedges your machine makes nice try though.
Lol.....I'm glad that you don't need it. We sell a pile of them to customers with outdoor boilers, maple syrup setups, and commercial operations. That unit a women ordered it to split tree service wood for her 60 inch deep commercial Boiler.
Lol.There is an ass for every seat. The customer that ordered this uses a grapple trailer to handle the unsplit and split pieces. He has a tree removal service and uses the machine to bust the blocks down to then resplit. It must do exactly what he wants because he ordered another!
The customer that ordered it has his wife pull levers and he sets the wood on with his grapple trailer. It actually can pile the wood up extremely fast with the right equipment! Thanks for watching!
The customer that ordered it uses it daily to process giant yard trees from city lots. Over 600 hrs on it since he purchased it. There is an ass for every seat.
The splitter is a beast for sure... I have reservations on the hydraulics when retracting the ram & raising or lowering the lifter, the engine appears to bog down considerably to much based on my observations here... Overall it looks like a good build that perhaps could use a couple modifications in hyds. & engine power as time marches on... Thanks for sharing this, Bill... :~)
Truly impressive, great job. That said, I see absolutely no need for anymore than 35 commercial tons in a splitter. Your slow cycle time coupled with only a 4× wedge seems inefficient at best, unless of course your someone that opts for 30inch diameter logs or greater which is totally unnecessary..... I've a sweet 35 ton machine with a 5 second cycle time that absolutly blows through everything and I've the option of using any of my 4×, 6× or 12× adjustable wedges.
So do we. Like said in the comments the customer ordered it like this so we built it. We have way faster machines with changeable wedges also. We build what our customers want.
@@joshszydel8202 It's all good but we can't be expected to fish through all the comments to locate something that may not even be there. I'd put that un the Description.
I'll just let you know that is the best wood splitter I have ever seen that is an animal this is an animal I bet at night time you have to put that on a chain and a muzzle you're at things mean that thing is mean and bad to the bone James T North Carolina
@@joshszydel8202 how much for the 20-24 with a 6,8 and do you make any bigger wedges? Also with the auto cycle and fast split. How does the fast split work?
On one of your videos I saw so many logs and a large wood shed, you must have a firewood business. Does BruteForce make a processor that would be good for rental? I would like having an hour meter. I saw some of your units have them, maybe they all do.
