IGE (Individual Group Effort) is a family and friends band that gets together every 3 or so years to do 1 show between Christmas and New years. We all live in different states and learn the 40-50 songs individually and then practice them when we get together for the holidays for 1 or 2 days. We then perform them as an all night concert. Some songs are total train wrecks and get cut, some are trolley wrecks and still make the show and some escape unscathed and become the ones we listen to to relive our moment of no fame and no fortune. The band line-up changes sometimes but usually consists of Jay and Ken Lawson (brothers), & Ron Fasbender (Honorary brother. Solid!) We have friends that sit in as well as other family members (Jay's wife and kids and whoever Ken is married to at that particular time). We just did another in 2014 and it came together well with the addition of Ryan McCollum and Daniel Habib. Remember as you listen that most of us are not in bands and do this just for fun.
This video popped up on my yt feed about a year ago and the thumbnail showed this man in a hospital gown in a wheelchair. Intrigued, I nonchalantly clicked play and for the next nine minutes my mind was blown! I’ve been obsessed with Rens music ever since. I’m not the only one this happened to (shout out fellow Renegades). Everything he’s produced has been exceptional and I’m sure you’ll agree as you continue down the Ren rabbit hole.
Congrats on the reaction! Well, some considerations: (1) Dimash composed the song and participated in the arrangement, in addition to acting in the mini-film. The lyrics of the song and Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and the video direction by Alina Veripya! (2) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time); (3) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the rats with his magic flute and drowning them in the Weser, the artist went to collect the amount owed (one coin per head) and was not paid (they alleged that he did not present the "heads" of the rats). He then hypnotized one hundred and thirty children from the city of Hamelin and locked them in a cave. Yeah, well, the "pied piper" (also called "ratcatcher") has become synonymous with the tyrant who uses a mesmerizing speech and leads to death! (4) The term "Imagine" refers to the song of the same name by John Lennon; (5) The final text is part of the document generated at the 2019 Congress of World Religious Leaders and the music presented at the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) on 14/09/2022 and was attended by of Pope Francis, representing the Catholic Church and who presented Dimash, on the occasion, with a medal of gratitude.
More movie details: More details about the film: (1) The two boys competed for the girl's attention; (2) The character (who Dimash represents as an adult) created a symbol to confirm the friendship between the three, after being saved by his friend; (3) Still in the video we see the girl choose "Dimash" and then they get married and have the little girl (who was killed) as a daughter and the mother is pregnant with another boy; (4) The oldest boy (who saved "Dimash" from drowning) does not accept being abandoned by the girl and becomes a dictator president/general; (5) Dimash becomes a soldier who decides to return from combat to protect his war refugee family; (6) Dimash finds his daughter dead and thinks that his wife had also died, so he decides to take revenge on his friend; (7) He kills the dictator and is killed regretting the violence he committed in life; (8) Dimash's wife is well received by people of different religions who agree that Dimash's son is someone special; (9) The wife dies in childbirth and Dimash's son becomes a leader who leads the refugees to a better place of tolerance, respect and acceptance.
Time and time again they are demonstrating their dominance in the rock and roll market. They are the future Queens of world rock and roll. Long live The Warning
"It was never really a battle for me to WIN... it was an eternal dance. And, like a dance, the more rigid I became, the harder it got." Out of ALL the incredibly profound lyrics and messages, I think this particular phrase hit me the hardest, and had the greatest impact on me. Great reaction! Best of luck going forward!
I am sure I've watched well over a thousand reactions to this, but yours rates among the best. I'm subscribing in hopes that you do the Money Game trilogy and maybe something with his old band, The Big Push, like - I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop or maybe Bongo Bong. Can't really go wrong with anything he does, but these are among my favorites. Also, if nobody informed you yet, Ren doesn't care about copyrights. He often drops in to reactions to say, "Hi and thanks."
I am so glad I found your channel. I love your reactions. I will definitely check out what other reactions you have right after I finished this one! I think you’ve quickly become one of my favorites.
Yes, he inspires us all to strive to be the best that we can be with our own unique talents. It's important to have captions on. Dimash says, in any performance, he regards his voice as merely one instrument he brings 'in service of' the storyline he is trying to convey. Here, in this Masterpiece of a Mini-Movie { with a maxi-message } rather than a music video. his voice, spectacular as ever, is the background sound track, supporting the fast moving visuals. The end shot is the baby ( reincarnated 'Dimash' character } all grown up and joining the pilgrimage of all races and religions journeying together toward a brighter future for all humanity - leaving crazy territorial and genocidal 'Pipers' and their wars behind.
Have you ever heard the band Nightwish? Here's a song I'd like you to react to. This female soloist of the band has been called the best female soloist of the moment. NIGHTWISH - Ghost Love Score (OFFICIAL LIVE) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JYjIlHWBAVo.html
I have heard several from Nightwish all the way back to the funny Wishmaster video someone made with the wrong lyrics. That was the first time I heard them and have since heard several including Ghost Love Score, Phantom of the Opera, and maybe a few more. My favorite so far is Romanticide.
What I was referencing having done no research on who wrote it ahead of time was the fact that Dimash had several songs with Igor that I had seen and was wondering if this was another collaboration. I, of course, looked it up and found out that Dimash had written the music himself over 3 years. Not everybody knows every Dimash fact before watching a video for the first time.
Had to pause at 2 mins to like, sub and say this. When you just have a small comment to make and you put it on screen rather than interrupting the flow of not only your video but the one you are reacting to. This was a great decision, no idea why this is the first time I've seen it. Bravo Sir.
Thank you. I will always pause to express ideas in the moment but I know some things will come to me while editing and people seem to like that approach. It adds time to editing but makes for a more complete reflection of my thoughts. Thank you for commenting on it.
Funny.😁 It's odd that I like all the elements of Muse and some of the songs but I could never get that into them. I have tried listening to a whole cd and usually end up skipping ahead some and then switch to something else after a few songs. The Warning, on the other hand, I can do shuffle on their entire catalog and never skip once all the way through all their cd's and EP.
This song is a "modern" multicultural interfaith Requiem (the traditional Requiem is a song for the Mass of the Dead in the Catholic Church. The best known requiem is by Mozart I think). The Requiem usually has 2 parts: one mourning death and the other celebrating life. Dimash says in a low voice: Адам керуен, өмір жол. Man is a caravan, life is a road. (Kazakh proverb) So for me, the caravan is his (and our) inner world. Religiosity is in us, the religious man dies when a part of the soldier (Dimash) dies when he finds his daughter dead. So when he seeks revenge, there's a storm. Death follows death: Piper dies but the soldier (Dimash) dies too. Death is not the answer. And so violence is not the way (You can murder the "bad guy" but if everybody thinks that violence is an answer, another "bad guy" will appear for sure.) And then we see that his son made a better decision... His son joins others in seeking peace. That is the final answer. Hug from Brazil 😍🇧🇷
Was that Till Tuesday guitar that I'm thinking 7:15, awesome. I get a lot of eighties vives with this song very creative. This album is going to take a while to digest like a good rock classic album should be.
I love this song, have listened to it often, one of my fav, just have to remember to skip it when my 7 year old granddaughter is in the car ;-) and YES, the RAP on this song is cool.
I think she already heard that word in Old McDonald had an F'in Farm or on Bear in the F'in Big Blue House (Don't even know if that show is on anymore but it was all I could think of). I guess Dora the F'in Explorer has more of a flow to it.😁
If Dany can pull off the guitar parts in the chorus and spit all those lyrics live at the same time she is the Queen of modern music. Her skill set is amazing
My fav song of The Warning together with Automatic Sun so far. I think Keep Me Fed will launch them to the stratosphere. This is the album that will gain them a broader and younger fandom. Something that YOUNG women like them would love and clearly are seeking it with KMF. Those who thinks is garbage should make a favor to themselves and steer clear from the new songs, listen to whatever they like and stop hating. It's not healthy.
That's Pau in the pre-chorus, which kinda fits. We're all a bunch of greedy little f'ers when it comes to DPA. And thank you for the wonderful words about others. I think the ladies would love that perspective. Show love and people will flock to you. Show hate, and you'll get that in return. Be kind.
