This outstanding arrangement was created by the Finnish group Club for Five. Tim contacted them and asked if HF could use it and they agreed. The Club for Five version has a different feel, since it is mixed male and female voices with instruments. Definitely worth a listen. The boys did an outstanding job here. Flawless harmonies and perfect lead vocals. I enjoy your written comments during the song. It lets me know what you're thinking without interrupting the flow.

Was just about to make the same comment, but you said it, so no sense repeating it. Yes, Tuukka Haapaniemi, their bass, sent Tim the arrangement, and later highly praised the added echo sequences Home Free put in.

It’s such a good rendition. Loved Tim’s low notes, loved the echoes. Tim and Chance looked ghost like in the windows. It’s hauntingly beautiful. Home Free is known for their great harmonies. Good reaction!

The bass, Tim Foust, is a true basso profundo with a twist - an effortless five octave range. You're in for a real treat with these guys.

I consider this their masterpiece. This arrangement was composed for a Finnish group called, Club for 5. Tim heard it & requested permissions to use it, and it was tinkered about on and this is what we got, and it's AMAZING.

Thanks for appreciating their talent, not always likening it to others but letting them stand on its own, refreshing reaction. I also like that you take time to edit by writing what your thinking while they're singing as it feels more like we're watching it together, interacting not just me watching you but my mind has to be engaged too. You make good company!😉🎶

this Home Free arrangement is incredible. I have to brace myself to listen to it - it is so emotional. And the harmonies are perfection. Thank you for reacting to it. "The weight of the song" as you said at the end speaks volumes.

A true MASTERPIECE!! 💕🎶 Trust me, you definitely need to hear American Pie, Take Me Home Country Roads, and Nessun Dorma (2 Country Singers try singing opera -found on Austin Brown's channel)! There are so many more, but that's great start! Without stopping to check out your previous reaction list, I'll go ahead and add 2 more you really should hear ASAP if you haven't already. Helplessly Hoping, which is a masterclass of harmonies, and Listen to the Music, a Doobie Brothers cover that'll knock your socks off! 🤯 Have fun listening!
@ige-individualgroupeffort-kenl
I'm guessing by now you have probably seen that I did Helplessly Hoping and Listen to the Music a month or two ago. Thanks for watching and I will keep them coming.

I have always loved this song by Dire Straits but think Home Free did an excellent version of this song. Tim's natural breathy bass was awesome along with Chance's smooth baritone & loved it when all the guys were doing 5 part harmonies. Who would believe humming could sound so good. They gave it a very solemn feeling. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there.

Love your reaction to powerfully emotional song. This was pure 5 part harmony no beatboxing or vocal percussion. This was released for Veterns Day 2021. Home Free strength is their tight harmonies. Their voices blend so well together and they do not use auto-tune to achieve that. A couple songs you might consider are TAKE ME HOME COUNTRY ROADS and a new Home Free original that was released Last Friday is ROAD SWEET ROAD. It was co-written By Tim Foust. Please keep Home Free reactions coming. You have a blessed day and a Merry Christmas.

Always look forward to your reactions, especially those with Home Free. Can't wait for your reaction to "American Pie", one of my all-time favorite Home Free covers and Don McLean is amazing, he hasn't lost his touch. "Helplessly Hoping" is another favorite, always liked Crosby, Stills and Nash recording of it but Home Free took it to a whole new level. Thank for the joy, Happy Holidays and Blessings always.

Home Free always pays appropriate respect in their covers--especially to the content! Their talent is amazing--and I LOVE their 5-part harmony❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ Such a genius touch to show the silhouette of the fellas in front of the window. I know some see it as a "ghost"y reference but it strikes me as a reflection of the POW/MIA flag. We'll never know just how many of those met the same fate as the soldier of this song. 😥

Enjoyed all of your previous reactions to Home Free. Good to see you back, checking out more of their songs. The 'church organ' five-part harmony, in this, is the highlight for me. Shakes the soul. BTW...in the behind-the-scenes footage of this, when Chance's feet aren't shown, there's a strong likelihood Tim's big, white dog, Satchmo, is asleep on the floor. You've got some good HF on tap. Am certain you'll love 'American Pie.' 'When Will I Be Loved' is a fave with many fans. (Satchmo appears in this one along with other pets of the guys.)

I tell people all the time, even when you're a bass (which I am and you definitely are, too), supporting those notes down below D2 isn't the easiest thing to do and keep them on pitch. The lower the frequency, the less tolerance there is for not being absolutely precise with pitch - a few cents off pitch at C5 isn't all that noticeable; at C2, someone is looking sideways at you, lol.

I love that your reactions are so true to the expression on your face. You love it, that's obvious, but yet so unexpected. They have worked together perfecting their craft on harmonies for at least 10 years or longer. You can't expect to reach that same place without putting in the time. Not saying you haven't but that it inspires you to do better than your own best is fantastic. Thanks for this reaction and not sure if you have seen it yet but try "Helplessly Hoping" a cover of Crosby, Stills and Nash. It's the bomb!!!! Again another 5 piece vocal with no beat boxing just like this one.

Hi Ken, I've been checking in on your reactions and I like your style. So many reactors stop after every sentence to comment and it interrupts both your enjoyment and those of us watching. You don't scream or (fake) overreact and I really like that about you. I also appreciate that you have done several Home Free songs and as of now, I'm subbing. I will get into more depth on your home page and see how I can contribute and possibly make a donation request. Thank you for being normal...that's a compliment by the way ;-)
@ige-individualgroupeffort-kenl
A very nice genuine compliment at that. I really appreciate when people let me know what I am doing right or wrong and I really like the feedback especially from someone who sounds like a very nice person herself. Thank you. As far as donation, anything is helpful but not necessary. On some of my videos there is a dollar sign that allows donations.

My suggestions: “End of the Road “, Rob lead, and he digs deep to his soul on this; “I Can’t Outrun You “, Chance lead, 5 part harmony, and Chance directed the video. It’s hauntingly beautiful. For some humor, “Champagne Taste (on a beer budget)”.Tim wrote it and sings lead, and “Butts Medley “. And I agree with suggestions for “Nessun Dorma” on Austin’s channel. Rob will blow your mind with his gorgeous operatic tenor. I’m hoping he’ll do an opera album sometime.
