Time for an extended break to recharge my batteries, but I will be back hopefully with new videos. Take care and keep safe.

Facts, stats, info and charts from the world of movies, incorporating thousands of movie posters from my personal collection, some rare, many restored and repaired. And hundreds of stills and lobby cards on display in over 900 videos. A treasure trove for film buffs everywhere.

My name is Steve Lensman and I'm a lifelong movie fan living in the UK. Thanks for viewing.

I appreciate this list, but I don’t quite agree with it. The masters of horror episode dreams in the witch House was missed and to me. It’s one of the best also Pickman‘s model from night gallery.

I liked her best in Forbidden Planet, it didn't hurt that everything else was first class also. The movie was intriguing but until Anne appeared and set the screen on fire with her radiant beauty, charm, and cute sexy innocence it didn't have that incredible female presence. She was good in The Satan Bug, but under utilized. Honey West was another outstanding vehicle for her talent and beauty. I have seen many interviews and she is a very personable and down to Earth person as well. thank you for posting this tribute.

Has anyone noticed the trend that Stanley Kramer used classic song-and-dance performers in his serious drama films? Gene Kelly in "Inherit the Wind," Fred Astaire in "On the Beach," and Judy Garland in "Judgment at Nuremberg."

"Judgment at Nuremberg" is THE MOST POWERFUL movie I have ever seen. The talent and the performances in this film are unmistakably brilliant. You could never put a movie like this together again.

Gordon Scott was a favorite of mine growing up. All his films are pretty good. Sadly he died in 2007 at the age of 80. He will be missed.😢

This is my personal appraisal of Ms. Baker's films: The Miracle with Roger Moore, was one of her most touching performances in this highly religious movie; Sylvia, another deep emotional bio-pic with George Maharis; In fact, I loved all of her other performances in movies, some of which were blockbusters like The Carpetbaggers plus Harlow, Cheyenne Autumn, The Big Country, Something Wild, Bridge to the sun, How the west was won. Baby Doll and Lolita were narratives on the same lines of young women being sexually exploited. While Carroll Baker was a very fine sensitive artiste, Sue Lyon was a flash-in-the-pan and fizzled out after only two movies. After Lolita, Ms. Lyon drew attention to 'Night of the Iguana' with superb acting by Richard Burton, Ava Gardner and Deborah Kerr.

It's the way the scores are calculated. IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes don't have perfect 10's either. Btw Gone With the Wind scored 9 at Rotten Tomatoes so my score was a bit more generous. Thanks for posting.

I, personally, love Ginger's early films, her black and whites, in the early '30s. I also really love the musicals that her and Fred made {of course}...believe me, it's hard to rate these 10 fantastic films!😅 Majority of the ones above I haven't seen but I'm making my way!😁 Say, could you tell me where you quoted Ginger in the beginning?? From her book..?🤔

Whats the one that blew everyone away, one of the early colour ones, based in France, like a summer vacation movie film? Anyone? Two guys went mental over herafter seeing the film. Not in Paris in somewhere like the french rivera where she's one of the locals. Can't remember exactly, seen it years ago. Found it lmao. It's And God Created Woman, 1956, saw it on regular daytime tv years ago, and remember her cool style! Alot of controversey over it at the time, driving some french guys bonkers to. Better than Marilyn Monroe films, I think. But for Some like it Hot, which is the best comedic performance! She is better looking than Marilyn and she doesn't seem like she's acting.

I like your rankings, but Rosemary's Baby left me feeling creeped out for days, so I'll not be re-watching that! I'll never figure out how she did such a convincing job in it since Sinatra had divorce papers served to her on the set. My personal favorites are Purple Rose of Cairo and Zelig. Reckless is a pretty flawed movie, but she was great in that, too. Thanks for the video!

I know so many like it, but Hello Dolly! is a Barbra Streisand movie I really can't stand.😂 Besides her and Armstrong, no one in that movie shows any talent including Walter Matthau. On A Clear Day You Can See Forever is the most boring. I'll sleep all the through it except for hearing her sing the title at the end of the movie.
