I never beat this boss and ended up ragequitting, this waste of money. One of the unspoken rules of game development is never introduce a game mechanic and only use it once because people will either love it and hate that they only get to use it once or will hate it and will hate that they have to do it once. This garbage unlabeled 10-15 minute long quicktime event destroyed what was up to that point an amazing awesome game and I refused to trust Rocksteady to try any of the other games in the series.

I developed a liquid metal slime hunting strat in DQ9 which worked over 90% of time a few weeks back, and I'm not that old lmao; been years since I played it too hehe! It's fun being able to own them so easily and grind like it's no big deal ^w^ Also consistently 1-4 damage per attack depending on my character, though two of them would use insta-death or critical attacks on them for safety's sake; I prefer to win or lose against them instantly rather than waste resources on something worthless to me.
One reason this channel has no traction is that I can search for a GTA 3 retrospective and get like a 30 min minimum in depth dive Into the game and its impact on gaming. So for you guys to only do 3 mins on the subject just doesn’t make sense.
Dragon Quest games are like the primordial soup of JRPGS tbh. I prefer them to FF because of how generic these ones are, which to me is a positive because it knows what it is and can expand from there ^w^
In the original Japanese version of this game you can actually straight up marry a trans woman main character (Sylvia); peak modern gaming lmao, 17/10 easily gotta say it's peak tbh ngl no cap all the other modern zoomer words yes; thanks for the video Also I more got into DQ with 9 and 6, so yeah I have a little nostalgia for 16 bit stuff, but the 2D mode genuinely excites me tbh
