Because Disney and game developers keep going back to old characters really is showing the brilliance of George Lucas. We all wanted him to stop and hand the reins to someone else….now I just want Lucas back, we gave him far too much hate in hindsight.
i couldnt agree more, this seems kinda lazy from a story aspect and tbh the gameplay isnt jumping out at me as super entertaining either. I just want a game that is star wars but not a rehash of everything we know already, the jedi survivor games as an example.
I personally like the trailer, for the most part. The only thing that kinda puts me off is that the character animations look a little janky. The pricing and the microtransactions are also ridiculous. Aside from those things, I'm cautiously optimistic.
We need to get into the outer rim. We need to get away from Tatooine and Coruscant. I think the problem here is that you need to focus on when the Galactic Empire existed and it's sphere of influence. It's a small window. It's only 25 years of existing and they only had control over a reasonably short amount of space. Scoundrels, as we know them, really only exist within that Empire occupied space. To tread outside that space would have to establish a whole new canon for the series. Which they SHOULD DO. I just don't know if a video game is where I'd do it. This is why the older games were great: fuck canon. I think that was the whole point of the sequel trilogy, non? The cartoons are the greatest gift to Star Wars canon. Fight me.
