This is awesome. What happens at 5:17? It starts getting really good then but it sounds like maybe there's some distortion or another effect that comes in there in addition to the morphagene glitch effect. Or are you doing that just by finding sweet spots with the CV control?
thanks! I'm not sure. Everything is sample based. So simple changes to the pitch can have a pretty drastic effect. But also just changing the sample will give everything a new character

Sounds like the thing that majorly changed the sound at that moment was probably not what you were doing with morphagene but more likely different source samples. Kind of a bummer 😝 but makes sense, given what you're actually doing with morphagene here. Thanks again.

I swear I read somewhere that the new update allows a new sampling feature, like a punch in the/ out or perfect loops. I’d love this as I send my kick out and would love to resemble drum loops then use the compressor onboard once I have my drum sound nailed.
While I find this totally inspirational I'm not a gamer so know nothing of gamepads. What kind of gamepad will this work with? Any, or a specific type? I want to dive straight into your patches, but this is a stumbling block.
Hey Jussi! The best bet is to get a Ps5 controller. You can find them used online or at stores like Game Stop if you’re in the US for a good price. Brand new they are about $70 usd I think?Connectivity is fairly straight forward and you can follow the directions for the controlled. At least, for me it was easy on a Mac. I’ve heard of some issues when connecting to PC in which case an Xbox controller might be better. But again, I can’t speak to that because I don’t have an Xbox controller or a PC. After getting connected, it’s no different than any other control device! It’s lots of fun :)
Not that much, but it’s definitely a cool feature! Honestly, i feel like just the elektron sequencer gives you so much, i hardly need anything else! Haha
@@userfriendlysounds yeah for sure you could parameter lock everything manually without bothering with the velocity mod x) You could also route the individual out of something, to one of the control input of the AR. thanks for all you shared here, it's priceless 🙏
I usually just use my keyboard. You have a full octave starting at the letter A. In the top left you’ll see a button that looks like a few piano keys, just click that to turn it on
has anyone tried to do something similar over FL Studio? im sure it's possible although it needs to be entirely redone, biggest challenge maybe would be to get the actual gamepad recognised in fl studio
To get around your scaling factor with multiple controls on one macro look into multimaper m4l device. Pailiaq has some good videos using it where he uses them to control the range of multiple things on one rack macro to get around a similar issue you’re having here.
