Love this video, you don’t spoil anything that I want to learn about like game bosses, the clips are funny, and this video is so helpful just started playing for my second time and started getting jumped by a pack of wolves on my 8th day and this video helped me so much!
how are you supposed to stop them freezing to death? I have two heaters that I light up during the day yet when I return after scavenging one survivor has died on each nighf. this game drives me fucking INSANE, it's so arrogant of the developers to provide absolutely no information/tutorials in the game. they try to claim that it's a simulation of real war. no it fucking isn't. it's lazy game design. a game isn't a game if you have to check the Internet every ten minutes to understand the baffling anti logic within this game. fuck the developers they are fucking cunts
I understand man, It's one of my oldest videos; hope the tips and tricks we're stull useful tho, Planning on creating one for the sequel. Feel free to subscribe if your interested :)
TBH even with great guides like this, if you are a total beginner, a small warning, you will die, a lot. Don’t Starve and DST by extention have a nearly vertical learning curve, which is part of what makes it so fun and stressful. So have patience, the game is very good, just take your time and learn things one at a time.
MOLOTOV COCKTAILS (Add 1 cloth and 1 booze... boo... idk what the singular form for booze would be) they explode and light the surrounding area on fire, lighting everything that walks over it
I got about 25 minutes and this is a pretty nice little tutorial on my way to work I got this for me and my fiance and she's discouraged we went in the game completely blind and we were having a blast until darkness came and we got destroyed😂😂 I'm trying to master the game mechanics a little better so I can host a server with her in it we don't know a lot about the characters in their strong points in the game but my first base idea I was thinking about building it near a bunch of beehives cuz at the very least you can get the bees to attack your enemies if you make them follow you towards something and kill it and then you can harvest the materials afterwards
Last time we played this I tabbed out of the game and came back a few minutes later and the entire base was on fire... hard to get anyone to play again
Played Witcher 1 a week ago and now started Witcher 2. During first boot-up the game asked me if I wanted to import witcher 1 save. I did. Ended up with having swords and armour imported from Witcher 1 as well as some story parts based on my decisions in the 1st game. The gear was decently stronger than the one's you start with normally. Was honestly floored. :D
The game is friendly to newcomers??? After the first encounter after the plane crash, I crawled out of the cave. Have not at all learned the controls or how to do anything yet but I get swarmed and killed before even getting to cut down a tree. Seriously.....not five minutes after entering the game for the first time on easy mode I get swarmed. I had no problems first time I entered the world of Subnautica and few problems as a new player in ARK. This game however....not fun for me.
Try blocking more often, also spam your attack to do a full 3 attack combo abv i dont mean waste your stamina, combo usually drops enemies pretty quickly if the axe is too slow try crafting a spear or upgrade your axe to be more faster
No other survival game is "more you against the world?" Well, I don't think man's played terraria before I got killed by a literal flying fish and 99% of npcs will attack you
If someone sees this comment and are interested in some more the forest tips or explanations for mechanics, I recommend watching some of farket's videos. He goes much more in depth
4:38 After playing for nearly 4 hours, creating and trying all the starting classes, I can say with confidence that the Pauper is kinda goated, specifically for the sole reason that it starts with a spear-type weapon. That extra range makes a ton of difference in the early game while you are learning the basics (it's also the only class I killed the starting ship boss with, ~achievement unlocked~)
lol this video is what let me know the books come before the games. I unfortunately watched a game movie of Witcher 1 before this. I thought they were basically the story that happens in the books, but able to be played out in a game. I watched the series and watched a bunch of recap videos on the books so now I feel I’m ready to play this. I wish there was a little strategy guide that could guide me things I don’t want to miss but not spoil the game too much lol. Thanks for the video bud.
I remembering trying DS when it first came out when I was used to Oblivion, Assassin’s Creed, Zelda, etc. open world adventure games and I had a low bar for being scared. I lasted maybe 5 or 6 deaths before giving up. Recently I’ve been watching my neighbor play and it made me nostalgic for Oblivion again so I asked to make an account. I’ve finally gotten over the “what’s the point of the game?” mentality and just enjoy exploring and learning.
Pro tip take Boris out then grab eveything u find and dump it in the middle of the house or wherever for easy access keep doing that till it’s empty than you can come back next days
just bought this game while it was on sale, saw the reviews saying not to play without the unofficial patch, thanks for the guide, gonna check out your beginner vid and then play :D
I'm nearly done with the game, stuck at the final boss. I decided to take a look at what the internet says about the game. I just wanted to say that I had a little pass where I decided to level up my Resistance... I don't know why, now I know how much it was useless haha!
