New videos weekly on UI/UX
Hi, I'm Gary. I've created close to 100 courses from graphic design to advanced frontend development. I've worked with Envato Network's TutsPlus.com, DigitalTutors.com, Pluralsight.com, LinkedIn Learning & Lynda.com.
I teach full stack development! Which means you will see tutorials regarding UI/UX, Frontend Dev, Backend Dev, Graphic Design and more!

Yeay, mine's got reviewed again. Thank you. Tbh, the headphone image is my first idea. But I just want to make a different looks 😅 And too bad, you dont play the protoype mode. Because i made nice little animation on the form fields 😊
Really cool video, I am a sucker for animations, waiting for em. I think that forms shall be made in a minimalistic fashion, as they mainly focus on functionality and data rather than design.
Hey man you can select the button or any group of elements and press K to scale it down, instead of seperatelly reducing the size of text and the container
Hey Gary awesome work as always, can't believe you're doing a whole live session with submission reviews, its amazing. Just one thing, while designing you're not encouraging (for the lack of proper word) about the 4pt or 8pt grid, so that spacing and responsiveness can be enhanced. It'd be really cool to see some tutorials encapsulating those features as well.
It's interesting, the one you pick as the top level design, I like the least. I find the animations to be very distracting and there's far too much going on. I would place #2 as the best designed site and I would place #1 much lower on the list. I think this is the difference between what a designer thinks and what the audience might think. I see this EVERYWHERE in tutorials; designers who are obsessed with showing off what they can do, but who don't stop to think whether they should be doing it. When I've asked my clients what they prefer, they want information delivered to them in a clear and concise manner and they don't care at all about animations etc. ps. Niche = Neesh not Nitch ;)
In my honest opinion, for 30 days of UX UI, you should have gone for a complete web or mobile project instead of seperate content and review stuff. Designing an imaginary product would have been much more helpful for many of us I think. Amazing effort nevertheless, thank you.
I'm continually using 3 different projects or so that I've covered already in this series. It's better to have diversity/variety imo in styles, rather than sticking with just 1 type of layout.
Hi I am a beginner designer and was curious as to what counts as responsive design vs adaptive design. From my research responsive design is using one layout and making it responsive for all devices, so would this be considered more adaptive design?(designing for different layouts) thank you!
Thank you for reviewing my design. I'll be giving more attention to spacing next time 😅 Can't wait for the next challenge. And also thank you for the thumbs up 🎉
Ohah! I designed it more accurately spending time on maintain the distinct ratios 📐📏of the font and gap or white space in between. I submitted the design in discord server on time. Even then my design is not reviewed. 😑😭
None of my homework was considered and I don’t understand why.. ((Regarding the form, will we make it really adaptive, unlike what we did before with the ticket and with the page (changing their places)?)
