I think most people get confused by the constant separation of UX - UI in titles everywhere, and i was definitely constantly trying to figure out why they always appeared seperated, but as soon as I started working on this and doing real life projects I realized how absolutely connected both are. It's almost like UI is just another process within UX so in my opinion UI should never be used as a standalone because using certain colors in the buttons for different states, determining what font to use, which size, how to manage the contrasts, etc etc etc are incredibly important and decisive and therefor should be only included as an speciality inside UX field, such as Research or Visual. But we don´t see "UX / UX Research" or "UX / UX Writer", But we do see "UX / UI" because it maybe looks cool, as if they were completely different things. Just my two cents ehehe. Thank you for these videos, amazing content and production. I see you have everything there to produce music as well, do you work as a producer too? Cheers!

Hey Gary, would you want to be part of a musical collaboration? My musical duo is making all sorts of cool content these days, mostly live off the floor in studio, but I think there's a song that could use some shredding lead electric, and we could to an online thingy.

Question: I am a webdesigner who can design an entire website on Photoshop, or Figma, and I can develop it using HTML, CSS and some JS (I dont know JS, but I use some scripts sometimes). I developed some Wordpress sites too, and use Elementor. Can I write I am an UI/UX designer in my portfolio?
