I made this same test that Russell made here with a ProSeries jack stand and sure enough if you wiggle the strut, the jack should not collapse. Question, can you drill a custom hole on the strut and insert a pin?
This video saved my ass. Literally no other video on youtube or even the instructions that came with the shortened linkage made a mention or a peep about the linkage lock out so I ripped my engine bay apart 8 times trying to figure it the hell out. You're a god send brother.
This is a great video but I wish somebody would truly finish the paint job including wet sanding if needed buffing if needed polishing if needed because this paint seems like it has a lot of potential, especially when you consider the alternative having to take it to Maaco or pay $2,000 for a job that you could do yourself.
@@davidhorne2326 it uses the brakes to transfer power to the wheel with traction. An open diff will send power to the wheel with less resistance (traction). If you apply that wheels brake, it uses the ABS system, the power transfers to the other side of the axle as now that side has less resistance. So it kind of acts like a locked diff, in its ability to send power to both wheels
They're lying. over 50% of the ADs in my state (as I've been to them all) have straight up said they will only sell allocated watches to loyal customers...loyal being one who spends money with them. the minority that dont outright say it play passive aggressive games and still never call you. F them all
I live in the UK and there are zero 4runners, I own a 2010 SR5 in Afghanistan and I have checked every available car sales platform and cannot find one😢😢😢
The manual transmission should have died a long time ago, Damn shame I still have to put up with those hellspawn pieces of shit all cause Europeans wanna be so "quirky and different"
I got my 2019 wrx new and loved it for a year or so cause I was in my early 20s still gotta sell it to pay for my down payment on my much better 4Runner. Its way more comfortable and I can legit get 21mpg if I wanted to but idgaf I love it more than banging gears
i saw somewhere on a forum that you can build up oil pressure by pressing the gas and turning on the ignition to crank the engine and push the oil in the engine before it starts up do y’all think this could work i have an old ford crown victoria
Lucky you and happy for you, but this won’t happen in Europe or Asia , to me su…ng d.cks for a watch is ridiculous, people are making to much of this brand, this is just a watch, and there are actually much better brands out there for the watch experts; been doing and trying everything to get one for some time with the official Rolex stores and could never get one, I found my way tp get one without going with these official « museums » as they are there only for exhibition, I will not prostitute myself for a watch…. Hope the market will crash and we’”ll see how they gonna deal with it ? Please our dear Asian friends, stop buying those watches and we’ll see how they do… 😂
3 years ago I replaces my motor in my golf. Only driven it maybe 5 times since. Got it out again today & my first test ride the shifter was insanely stiff left/right, but up/down was normal. I had to take off in 3rd then after a few minutes I was able to get back into 1/2. After multiple test drives I never was able to get 5/6 or Reverse. Hoping to go back tomorrow and do the adjustment but just want to make sure I’m clear about one part, when pulling slack out of the cables before releasing springs do you pull the cable towards the grille or towards the firewall/inside of car? Praying this adjustment will fix my issue
Well i don't know what gum your using but most gum is not biodegradable, and i don't know about other states but i do know that is California, Virginia and texas its is 100% liter. Also it doesn't matter if something is biodegradable or not throwing it out your window is litter nowmater what its is
If you have a pulse you can get a Rolex right now. Everyone is broke and therefore there is minimal luxury spending. Dealers would love to sell anyone an overpriced watch who is interested.
In Feb, I purchased a 2010 limited 4wd it had 220k with a bunch of upgrades, trd steps 3 inch lift, weather proof floor liners, off road shield underneath, rear door ladder and rear windows molle panels for hanging stuff, ko2 tires with fuel off road rims, i almost replaced all the fluids all i have left is the brake fluid and center locking diff fluid, I also rebuilt the front axle boots, its a great vehicle and haven't had any issues with it 🤞, I paid 15k
Cant go wrong with any 4runner. I got an off-road premium because id rather have features and not need them than need them and not have them. Would have gotten a pro, but don't like sunroofs, and didn't feel yhe value was there. I disagree that 4runners are expensive relative to other options. It's overbuilt in all the right ways. Current pricing is inline with inflation compared to when 5th gen launched. Honestly, for what you get, it's a solid deal. The manufacturing has long been amoratized. Look at the new gen tundra and tacomas to see what the 6th gen price hike will look like. $10k premium for top trims before markups
The hood scoop reflects the sun in the eyes and some low angle sun conditions particularly in spring and fall Not a deal breaker but be aware of this considering the scoop is purely cosmetic The big thing with the higher trims is the upgraded suspensions TRD sport and limited is the xreas cross linked shocks Off road is kdss which gives a heavy sway bar to improve body roll on road And of course the bypass shocks on the pro Limited probably has the most worthwhile upgrade with full time 4wd Why the pro doesn’t have that and kdss is mystery.
I am seeing alot of people singing the praises of these Turbo cans and painting cars with it, but, honestly, for the price of a can of it, I’d just break out the compressor and gun … or even an airless electric gun … thin some canned oil based paint, and add some hardner. You’d end up with a MUCH more durable paint job that will outlast spray can paint for about the same cost (maybe less if you already had some of the tools and materials on hand). I painted my mailbox and post with a spray can and it only lasted about a year before the paint failed. I repainted it with Rustoleum in a can and a brush (no hardener) and it still looks good 4 years on. I am sure, if prepped well, the Turbo can will lay out a nice finish. I’m just not sure it will last or be durable in the long haul. I guess it’s all about what your needs are?
I purchased. 23 SR5 Premium kept it a year and a half and fell in the love with the 24 TRD off road in the color underground. I traded my 23 for that one as soon as I saw it love the upgrades and the blackout trim inside and out well worth the money .
Bro hes so right the look on people's face when i drive my 4runner in traffic with back window half way down is nothing short but envy and jealousy 😅.u want a vehicle just for looks and will start slipping at 100k u get a BWW or Benz.u want a vehicle that will last even your grand kids will be driving in style U GET A TOYOTA 4RUNNER😊
