Doulop, I watched a lot of videos before deciding I wanted a C4 - including yours. You did have a part in me deciding to get one: a 1996 LT1 automatic whose name is "Colette". I LOVE this car, it IS so much fun to drive - I drive it everywhere, including at night and in the rain. I got it in November of 2023 and I've put 6k miles on it, taken it for long drives, and like I said, use it almost daily. It was the best decision I've ever made - thanks for helping me with that decision. BTW, I put in a modern double-din radio with bluetooth and Android Auto (also Carplay) and it made a huge difference in my enjoyment of the car. If you drive it a lot, the lack of modern car features can be disappointing and the modern radio helps with that. I used wire and installation adapters and didn't have to cut a single thing - I could go back to stock at any time if I wanted to, which I don't.

Watched a couple videos and everybody's cars are missing the big x- member unless that is a convertible only item. It bolts in those 4 holes you see just behind the two bolts for the guard.
Yes, I am pretty sure that is a convertible thing only. The convertible’s don’t have the same solid construction as the others so they added that for more support. Thanks for watching!
Yes but you had reversed the plugs when checking the relay, looking at the relays the left is the a/c fan and the right is the engine fan, looking at the rad from the drivers seat the left is a/c and the right or passenger side is the engine fan.

Haha, I have had the car for 15 years and I’ve only had the manual for about two or three. I have never had the car in a shop. I’ve done all the work myself but a lot of the stuff I just look up on RU-vid.

I think my friend who is doing some work jacked it up wrong and damaged the fuel lines on the passenger front side.I replaced the fuel pump,fuel filter,spark plugs,ect.

Can you tell me what size you updated to. Did you keep the factory 17 inch. Can you tell me what size you have on yours. I am looking to possibly go up to a 18 or 19 rim

5000 + rpm makes ZERO difference in power, that tuned port does ZERO beyond that point. The runner length kills ANY chance of making high RPM power. By removing it and replacing it with a TPIS miniram and a set of inch and 3/4s headers will make more power than anything else you do to it. Adding an LT4 hotcam, Manley 22410 springs, and 1.6 ratio roller rockers and youll easily make 125 horsepower touching the ground. Ive built and raced too many of these Corvettes to waste time on the bolt on crap that doesnt work.
I know you have a problem with your radio. I had a problem where the radio was flaky whenever you reattach the battery. It would just display the time and then a blank when you try to turn it on, or sometimes it works, but you can't turn it off or it would start working if you turn on the ignition, but as soon as you start the car, it would fail. The radio seems very sensitive to power surges when you attach the battery, some times it works, and sometimes it doesn't. It works when you attach very quickly with no sparks. So try that. I noticed the voltage was getting low on my 3 year old battery, so I changed it and the new battery seems to have fixed the radio problem. So maybe the radio needs very stable power. Also, some references say a group 78 battery will work, but it doesn't, you have to modify the tray to cut off both ends to make it fit. So use group 75 on your 90's Corvette. I have 1996 convertible.
Hey, thanks so much for your comment. I never knew this. I actually tried putting my CDM back in the car about 3 weeks ago because it had been laying in my garage for a few years now. I just wanted to button everything up and “forget” about it. I had the passenger side plastic shield down and out of the car during that time as well. Anyways, I went to plug all the cables back into the CDM and when I went to plug the one in, I just heard what sounded like a bunch of sparks behind the dash so I quickly unplugged it. I just decided to forget it so I removed the CDM again, put the plastic shield thing back up and laid the CDM in the garage out of the way. I doubt I will ever get to it. Seems like so many possibilities and the radio isn’t important enough for me to put time and energy into it. It sucks but I would rather hear the exhaust. If I do want music, I use my AirPods :) thanks for commenting and watching my videos! Have a great day!

I changed mine any idea about a bad ground to dash board I cleaned all the ground connections to the chassis driver side found two one under the battery box passenger side also two to the chassis any idea where there are more ground wires my digital speedometer and gas gauge flicker when I hit a bump
Content doesn't have to be C4 stuff. When you did your garage you made a lot of content. You and Mother doing the basement would have been fun. Hope your gonna take us to some car shows this year.
Hey Jeff, over the years, anything that wasn’t corvette content, the views were terrible. Isn’t worth my time of filming and editing for little to no views. That stuff takes a lot of time. If people would watch it, I would LOVE to film non Corvette stuff, trust me.
We had the same exact thing happen July 27th last year. I remember it bc it was my wife and mines anniversary. She called me crying and I was on the road and had to drive an hr to get back home. It happened at 4:30 in the morning. Our furnace, electric fire place, stove, and dvd player all got fried. Now it makes me want to get a Radon test done in my house 😧
