I am planning on using E6000 for a project, but after reading about it's toxicity, I bought a 1/2 face respirator mask with an appropriate filter (3M 6001 organic vapor) and plan on using in my garage with an open door. If you're smelling that bad smell, you're exposed to the vapor. If after use you feel a headache, nausea, dizziness, confusion or blurred vision, you don't have adequate ventilation. If you're doing regular, daily crafting with this stuff, consider using a different, less toxic glue. ESPECIALLY if you have any respiratory issues.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I order all your pretty stuff and have tried but failed using e6000 glue in bond 2 metal pieces. It's too stretchy and comes apart after curing all night. Maybe the pastry bag tip will work for me!
Thankyou for this lovely video, I have a question about vintage buttons. I have a vintage blazer and the metal is cracked on the button is there anyway it can be fixed?
The zip baggie idea is a great idea. As for the writing pad, I can't live without my journals to keep track of things or to scribble notes in. I love the colorfully decorative 8.25" x 6.5" journals by TopFlight. I really loved your embellishment ideas! Thanks for a great video! 🙂
Hi I'm very disappointed I've been using e6000 glue from 2008 it wasn't really giving me any trouble or comming apart but I've started doing macrame making bracelet and necklace sets; it's all ok until I give out as gifts or show to potential clients to buy as soon as the clients try on a design twice with two separate people the crimp clamp has come away from the cord and I look unprofessional who would want to buy or even recommend me or buy from me if my work comes apart. Please help Cheryl Harris
That's a great tip but, my problem is that once I close the tube of glue not matter what I do it dries out. I even seal it with Saran Wrap, and when I ready to use it again is dry. I have to use an ice pick to dig out all the dry glue from the top.
You are adorable thank you for you eloquent way of teaching you remind me of my mother yet I’m so much older then you so thanks fo the sweet memories You make me cry . But my creativity is contagious.😂
I have tried to subscribe to your channel but it won't let me it keeps coming up there was a problem with server 503 can this be fixed please I want very much to subscribe to your channel
nybsbfan18 walmart also sells these little jewelry bags in 3 or 4 sizes (all in wads of 100 or more) for a few dollars - really, I think I pay less than $3 for them and after buying 3 different sizes to store and sell many goods, I still have tons of them.
I've never had any luck using this glue. It's runny, goopy, and takes forever to dry & cure. I came here to find out if I've been doing it wrong & I haven't as far as I can tell so i can't figure why this glue gets such high marks among crafters.
You just have to be extremely quick with it, so it doesn’t get goopy. It gets such high marks because it’s practically indestructible-once you glue something with it, it stays. Very few other glues do that.
I always use less than what I think I will need. If some of the glue leaks out, don't touch it. Wait for about two hours and go back with tweezers and or a needle tool. You can pick and pull the excess glue away without leaving a mess.
Oh thank you so so much for this video!!!! E6000 and I have a love/hate relationship. Btw- that’s exactly what I do for art!! The embellishments. I always layer with filigree as my base. Guess I’m not so original after all. Lol
I wish the sound was more clear. I like the glue in a bag idea. Those coated clips can be bought at the Dollar Tree, I get them there, and it’s a pk of 4 or 6.
👏🏼 Holy hell ! 🙆🏻. Thank you for SO MANY GREAT ideas. ❓What is that piece called you had under the button ❓I make the notes all day long but I had them on my phone and T MOBILE had me "troubleshoot" and it has been 3 months without a phone ! I SHOULD HAVE SEEN THIS VIDEO SO I WOULD NOT HAVE LOST ALL MY NOTES, LISTS, IDEAS, ITEMS TO PURCHASE, PROJECTS TO COMPLETE etc. I hope you have a link to "the website."
