@@trevonbarton4592 Nobody said that. But he’ll most likely be the starter after Jadyn Davis. Michigan also will have Carter Smith in the room. They’ll have a lot of options to choose from which will be very nice!
Everybody is delusional who is saying that Alex is a quarterback who helps with the run game. It's actually quite the opposite. If teams know that the quarterback is likely going to run about 70% of the time at least then they play run with no threat of a deep ball. It's pretty simple. It took USC a half a game to figure it out then they pretty much shut down Michigan's offense completely since they only had six yards in the second half up until the last 2 minutes and 33 seconds which I say Michigan in a sense got lucky. If Mullins did not break that tackle we'd be having a totally different conversation. Throwing 32 passes and a complete game is not sustainable for wins especially when Michigan gets down which they will
@@Michael-rx6ji It didn’t take USC a half a game to figure it out, they knew going into the game that Michigan was going to run it 40+ times. I’d rather have a QB who brings another dimension to the run game then a QB who doesn’t. Defenses are going to try to make you throw the ball either way because they know we don’t have a good passing offense, so you mine as well roll with Orji. The passing game will continue to improve and open up for Orji as the season goes on
Michigan has Neglected the WR room since Nico Collins committed. I understand the offense is built around the run but currently there is NO ONE on this team who is a threat. If I am the opposing Defense I put 8 or 9 in the box until they beat me. You talk about How the offense has an Identity but as Texas showed it will no win a championship. Hell against USC it took a defensive touchdown and weak against the run USC Defense to get a W.
@@marktilley388 We aren’t going to win a national championship this season, we knew that coming into the season after losing so many pieces. You should be able to have a chance to make the playoffs though
It's a lot easier to take care of the football when you're not asked to chuck it 25 times behind an O-Line that hasn't figured out pass blocking yet.... It was just too much for Warren's young life at QB. Orji was spared the embarrassment. I think he'll be good enough to beat Minnesota even if he keeps those 32 yds in his pocket. But after that, Alex had better have made some passing progress.
Listen. I love Brady Hart's skills and potential. But he plays in a spread offense. I just hope we utilize him instead of underutilizing him the right way. Also. I'd love to see Jadyn Davis play this year. Groom him for next year... Go Blue!
@@IndigoBlue-u1h Carter Smith has great potential. He’s going to be competing in that QB room no doubt. I personally think that Brady Hart is just the real deal though.
Brady Hart is very impressive. He was fitting some of those passes into very tight coverage where there was just a very brief opening to get the pass completed. I'm looking forward to seeing him develop and grow as a quarterback.
Scott Starzyk from the Woodlands, Texas is someone to be excited about. Has the Moody leg. He is a very good punter also. I get to watch him often down here.
They need to do for Orji what bama did Jalen Milroe last year, turn him loose and let him figure it out. Milroe is now a Heisman Trophy candidate. A kid can’t develop if you don’t give him a chance. (Been getting anxious to see Jordan Marshall).
Recruiting news is kind of pointless since these kids are flipping and decommiting all over the place. You don't even have them committed after they sign because they can just red shirt and then transfer. It's all pretty pointless.
@jackpackage4278 Some fans don't seem to realize that starting a QB before he is ready can absolutely ruin their confidence and eventually their career. I get wanting to see him, but he's young and needs time in the system. This team doesn't run a simple offense that can just plug in any talent and run with it.
@@CertifiedClapaholic I’m not talking about starting him or even giving him significant playing time but maybe a drive at the end of a game that’s already over would be invaluable experience for him next year. I don’t really understand the view point of giving him absolutely no PT at all this year unless that’s what his parents want. JJ single handedly lost us the Michigan state game his freshman year and he turned out fine lol.
This is really the greatest Michigan football channel out there, in my opinion. Videos are very succinct, to the point, and gives the Michigan football fanbase up to date news as it comes out. Really appreciate the effort man, and ALWAYS look forward to your videos and the latest Michigan news.
Orji is trash. I don’t want to see him. He sucks. Start Davis. Why not give him the reps to get better. We’re not winning the natty this year. I’d rather see a qb with a future. Not someone who has no right seeing the field.
I dont think its right to call a kid trash, but hes not a QB. Just say that. Id go back do warren. He threw picks, but at least he can pass a bit. And he can hand off the ball to mullings just as good as orji. Warren is just as inexperienced as orji is. I think coach moore got spooked by the all the interceptions and put orji in to please the outside noise. Lets see how many picks orji throws when hes actually allowed to throw. Orji is not a QB. I think he should possibly move to TE where an athlete like him has a chance to contribute.
@@kyllerkill Orji has earned the starting QB role. Jadyn Davis’s time is next season. Gotta let him learn the playbook and continue to develop him, then he’ll be ready to go next season like JJ was
Its nice to keep the shelves stocked. Im with you on Orji. I thought he should have started this year also. Last Saturday was a hellava game to build on. Thanks for another informative update. Go Blue!
