02:29 prolly didn't connect to a power source. since windows laptops use x86 hardware configurations, their power efficiency is very bad, unlike MacBooks that use ARM configuration that is built for efficiency. since the power efficiency is so bad, windows laptops limit performance to 40% to protect battery life. Hope this helps.
I'm thinking of moving to a macbook soon too. I used to use it in school and the files not snapping to place was actually one of my favourite things. For photography, when I had too many raws, I'd create 'clumps' of the best ones, ones I could use for somethign else or that inspired me, and ones that are too blurry that will get deleted. It was very usedul and I used it for my art projects too when I did research and downloaded too many resources and needed to sort them
I started using windows xp pro when I was 6 years old and when I was 11 I got my first Mac (a MacBook Air) I literally cried because of how incredible the user experience was
5:45 LMAO when you “uninstall” something on Mac, it doesn’t fully uninstall, you’ll find 20-30+ files and scripts which are not uninstalled by default, you’ll need to do it manually.
I think a 1800 dollars laptop that cant play games and cant 3d model that well because it uses are or another windows laptop like the surface the razor or my personal favourite the levono yoga which can do anything in my eyes is much more better
I’ve just ordered a base 8/256 model from the refurbished Apple Store for £750 in the UK. I don’t need it for video editing, just occasional Discord, Reaper (podcast recording), Safari, Mail etc.
Thanks but can it Run after effects ? As I am planning to learn it and level up my editing with it. And is it worth it in 2024 or should I go with any windows laptop in the similar price range ? Thanks a ton for the video. Loved it
I’ve been using Macs, Windows and unix since the 90’s. Macs can run any os with VMware but no other vender can run Mac’s os. Macs I’ve used out performed and out lasted all the competition. I thought Ms surface pc’s had a chance but I realized that opened architecture makes them unsecured systems. I rather have a secured system out of box.
I need ppls opinions on this I’m bout to buy a laptop and I need to know which one and it’s one of these cuz I need a small laptop that is under 13 in should I go with (A Microsoft laptop go 2) 12.4 in Or a (Intel MacBook 12 in) I know it’s old but i need a 12 in laptop soo what do I dooo pls someone tell me
I bought a macbook air m2 a couple of months ago and i love it, use is for work, private and some light video editing for my motorcycle trips. Really love it! Easy quick and powerful and still slim.
I’m just a regular techie and I made the switch a couple years ago, and I’ve been regretting it. I do love apples eco system and how it integrates with my iPhone, but the OS still feels like it’s in beta, and reading the forums, they still have lingering issues from like years ago with no fix or guidance in sight. I’m just waiting for the next gen of processors to switch back to windows.
ive always been a mac user, but mac is really bad at gaming and if u want normal specs for gaming you will spend enourmess amounts of money, and even then support is really bad, but for other things its great! really great. Do your research well before doing fast moves, know what you need!
I hate that i want one so bad. I cant bring myself to buy a gaming laptop for editing. The 8gb of ram kills me for the price, but im very tempted still . Id love to have a lightweight system i can take with me to edit captured footage on the fly
I can text Androids from an old ass 2011 Macbook. I get home and never even have to pick up my phone. Make calls to Androids and iphones simply from ANY Mac. Old Macs that I ran Open Core legacy thru and even those run great for basic use and are fully integrated with my phones.
Pulling as much as these crazy windows machines do from your outlet. Its a recipe for disaster. Mac all day and even for Linux!! Kali Linux runs flawlessly on my M1 Max thats loaded. It even runs perfectly on my M1 Air
I've also been using macOS but because I wanted to try it, and I agree about the deleting-app kind of way - it's simple, it's easy. But I wish it deleted all files that come attached to that deletion, and neither macOS nor Windows does it. Just like Windows, I need a 3rd-party app to delete all files related to an app/program and leave no "leftovers"
About installers - rhats not how installer works. Its like 50/50. Some apps got separated installer, some just d&d to /Applications/. Also, removing app from /Applications/ doesnt remove its files. macOS is handicaped here, and you need to use external apps - like AppCleaner - to get rid of connected files. Otherwise, you can delete for eg. Cinema4D from /Applications/ - but 35GB of data will stay in /Library/. Windows on the other hand got "portable" versions of apps where you can put it anywhere on drive and they just works. Portable apps on windows are also creating lost of additional files ;) So youre wrong here. Also - clicking 3 times "next/next/next" - when installing stuff on Win is such a pain... ? macOS windows setup works more with full screen but its also handicaped as hell. For luck - there are like 50 apps which handle windows management and snapping - best one imo is "Better snap tool" Snap to grid. - just set as default... Please learn a bit about something what you record before doing it ;)
I have yet to buy the camera, and I've never used V-LOG. As soon as I have the box in my hands folks are going to expect me to use it and know what I am doing. Your demonstration is exactly what I need right now. Yes, I will spend the $s for GamutLUT on the first day. Very well presented. Thanks.
Used to love Apple. It was intuitive, and it worked well. However, after Steve Jobs, and in the ear of the iPhone, Apple has put all of their eggs in the iOS basket, at the expense of MacOS. They're still charging premium prices, but their products are less than stellar. I went back to Windows about 4 or 5 years ago, and I'm staying for a while.
Great and informative videos, one question from me is, will it render 50 Raw Image (24MP) smoothly on Lightroom, planning to use it for photo editing. Thank you
du coup on filme directement depuis le profil GAMUT sur notre boitier et non VLOG c'est bien ça ? et sur notre logiciel de montage on converti egalement en GAMUT et non en rec 709 ?
I would really like to se a frequency response test result for the N50. For a nearfiled monitor, I wish the woofer was higher up and close to the tweeter on the M50 (like the old Tannoy Reveals). Putting the bass port on the front would have been better, too. However, the vol/on/off on the front is good, as is the headphone socket.Shame they don't offer colors other than black. Still, the price is tempting.
