im sure you could do a better job. maybe youre speaking to people who already know how to fly, and program their radios, judging by the positive comments. Sorry, im not in that group. I think the explanation was ambiguous the entirety . the only thing understandable was is that N, 1 2 are different. Differentiate whether you are talking about the pitch of the blade, vs the pitch of the helicopter. that not trivial, because they use different sticks, No? talk about one function and explain it well. then, bring in another topic once that stick has been fully explained. I think you were all over the place. read thru your transscript for ambiguity to a novice, and youll see what i mean. cheers. I'll equally applaud a better video.
How do i fly 3d and how to fly 6g? I mean, how to switch from normal to upside down flying? Is it mode 1 and mode 2 or a switch on the controller? Nice Video Man!
I haven't found anything on if it is possible to fly the model with no idle up AND no stability. I wouldn't feel comfortable to take off with idle up but always relying on stability to take off and land feels wrong.
Now that I've been flying mine a bit could you not have just used forward programming and adjusted the flight controller. There's calibration settings and their for the drift… That's what I did and my 230 hovers perfect… And it was quick. But believe me I am no expert I did find the blade 230 had horrible tail rotor Hold… So I had to learn the PID algorithm and the numbers I programmed are nowhere near what the factory puts in. I now have a better tale hold I was getting large blowback when aggressive
Hello sir; How are you sir? what is the model of this helicopter because I would love to learn how to fly those types of aircraft. I am old, retired military, served my country for 21 1/2 years and deployed 3 times. I do enjoy remoted aircraft. Because these aircraft are very expensive, I would like to know what type, model if you may please sir, thanks. I will keep this video for guidance how to fly and maintain this type or any other aircraft.....Thanks.. Respectfully; Andy Disable Vet Texas
Hey, I really like this RC Heli channel and I am really sorry to see that it hasn't had an update for over a year. I hope all is well health wise. Can you at least check in if all is well? Best wishes.
Hi mate thanks for the comment. Yes all good thanks for asking. Just haven't had time for any more video sor even RC flying at all for a long time with work being busier and having 2 kids now. I am planning some more videos soon though hopefully. Got a plane now too so stay tuned. Happy flying.
Just got the M2 evo, first flight went terribly wrong broke my prop blades and couple of servo arms. Rebuilt now going right back to basics and have turned my heli right down. Thank you for the video!
So, one could use mixing to increase pitch/° of bank angle, which would eliminate the need to compensate. It would be difficult to get right, but could be done.🤔
Just need to set up throttle and pitch curves correct really. So you have idle up and throttle is held the same whether you move collective up and down
I have the dxs transmitter that was standard in the package. But They dont even explain what those buttons on top do. I cant find it anywhere. Please help man. Do u have fiver or something? I am willing to pay u to help me learn it.
Hi, I'm sure theres a dxs manual online somewhere that should say what they do.. Or what model is it you have exactly?! Maybe the buttons aren't needed for your model?
@@RCStuffvideos i have the same helicopter. Blade 230s. It has a button for 3 modes. Beginner. Intermediate. Expert. Button for smart function Button for toggle thrust or something. I checked the manual. It does not explain it.
Ok can you get to the display that shows you the firmware version? If you tell me which lights are shown I'll tell you the firmware version when I gets chance
I’m a brand new rc helicopter pilot. I’ve owned fixed wings before. I have a FlyWing Bell 206 V3 and I for the life of my can’t completely get rid of a vibration on shutdown. It used to do it on spool up as well. I’ve adjusted the main blades many times and can’t seem to get it right although I’ve made it considerably better. Please help.
I use the blue on my RC crawler trucks, especially important on driveshaft screws. TIP: heat will help you remove the screw if it's seized, on 1/10 i use a butane torch when required, on 1/24 a soldering iron is best. DO NOT use loctite on screws you suspect are cross threaded or have a damaged head or are stripped in any way as you will NOT be able to remove them later as loctite needs some force. Careful with 1/24 screws as they sometimes can't take the force required to undo a loctite bond (from personal experience, I had to drill a couple out recently)
I had my first heli crash in 36 years because I switched from a servo with a plastic output shaft to a metal one and I forgot to locktite the servo arm screw, and of course it came undone. Heli rolled inverted then plummeted nose first into the dirt...with much laughter from the local kids. I'm just glad no one got hurt. 🇦🇺
Nice banked and coordinated turns are not easy. Don’t beat yourself up because it takes lots of practice, at least it did for me. The tapping is something that really helps limit over controlling the bank. Like any other type of maneuver, at some point it will click and you wonder why did I have such a problem. The you start hurricanes and it starts all over again. 😂
That is a true statement. My thumbs don’t shake and my knees don’t knock flying the sim. When I’m actually flying my subconscious financial advisor is always in the background whispering $1000, $1000 This causes me to fly slow and not try out the stuff I’ve been working on all week on the sim. 😊
Same here. Found this freeware game/program yesterday. I have an easy to fly RC Era C187 "without" the optical altitude stabilizer. But even with this one (easy to fly), practice is everything.😁
Grub screw came loose on the tail shaft so you lost tail drive and it spun. Possibly no Loctite on the grub screw or it wasn't located in the dimple/flat on the shaft.
Im having that same noise issue with mine. Do yoi think it's the belt making that noise or what? Coincidentally I lost my tail (had the tail servo backwards on first spool up) hovered it then tail just blew out and I hit hold mode, slapped it down on tne ground and broke my skid in the same spot as yours!
