Sarhad is a Pune based social, educational & cultural organization engaged in creating and strengthening a strong bonding between the people of border states of india and the rest of the country, especially Maharashtra.During it's work spanning nearly three decades,Sarhad has deeply ensconced itself in the region's traditions and folk like. In Working with people in the States like jammu kashmir & laddakh, punjab and North-East Sarhad has realized that music can people across religions,language,culture,castes and creed.With this perception,Sarhad founded "Sarhad Music" an initiative to use music as a protect medium to forge a soul-to-soul relationship among not just the people of india but across the borders,the people of all the neighbouring countries like Nepal,sri Lanka Bangladesh, Afghanistan etc.as well.
