Great vid bud. I am in the uk and already do jet washing gutter cleaning soffit and fascia clean roof scrape and moss removal but have found a lot of windoe cleaners offering these services and so they take a lot of those jobs from us so i am going to invest in this equipment. I have been surprised how affordable it is to get it all. Fingers crossed it goes to plan 😂😂👍🏼
@@Puffwindowcleaning Thank you bud. I just did mine with what tools I got and man it is hard with basic stuff 🤣🤣🤣need better everything oh and better ladders as mine I can't get to the top of the window without it being dangerous. Either that or I get and extension to do traditional but that is even harder 🤣🤣🤣I need more practice 🤣🤣👊🏼
I haven’t gotten a business name yet but have worked window cleaning for years I recently started electrical 2 years ago and take classes for my apprenticeship(ultimately ending in an electrical contractors license.but I have 2 years left… just ordered a zero di kit and all the stuff for traditional… booked my first 300$ job will be next weekend will take me 3-4 hrs… that’s almost a 1/3 of my weekly electrical check of 40hrs… my goal is 3-5k a month Friday-Sunday. Business name and insurance after I build some clients.
@@Puffwindowcleaning majority cash huh that's good I guess, do you collect on the days you clean the windows, and if so, before or after you clean them?
@@Jonas104 it’s funny looking back on this video because at the time I didn’t realize that, and now I feel even more confident in charging more as it is my intention of building a long term business 🤙
Puff quick question. For homes with an excessive amount of small windows, like the half moon windows above a double hung window type thing… do you price that out as a single pane? Or do you take it case by case in understanding that they are relatively easy to clean and you don’t want them driving your price up by $150 or more so you take that in account? Many homes in my area have small windows as accents or details that would drive the price through the roof if I charged it as a separate pane.
@@me-tx2ws removing hard water stains is considered “window restoration” and is not included in a standard window cleaning. I just explain that to my clients at the end of each job where water stains are present. Hard water stain removal is a great add on service and can usually be removed using this product. windowcleaner.com/products/diamond-magic-stain-remover?sca_ref=3262836.zjpCnDR2Id
@@Puffwindowcleaning so I am fortunate enough right now to have the funds to buy all the equipment needed to get started. (Squeegee up to DI system). After watching your video my knee jerk reaction to getting started is to get all the filings done for the business and hammer out a couple thousand door hangers assuming a 1% call back rate, and continue that cycle until I build a big enough base. I am confident in my ability to sell as I’ve been in sales for 15 plus years. 2500 flyers, 25 calls back on the low end, close out 20 deals, and get started that way etc. thoughts ?
@@me-tx2ws I wanna start by saying I love that you have a plan in place. Weigh the pros and cons of all your options and then make the best play that you think is possible. The best part about being the boss is that you get to do what you think is best for your company. Sounds like you have the drive and one of the most import skills to running a business (sales). Keep me updated on your progress. I’m interested to see how far you’re able to push this thing 🤙
My dad used to work for a company that sold GPS trackers to small businesses and car lots. For the car lots, they are able to turn the car off if the person stops making payments.
Thank you for your videos mate. I started my own cleaning business in London, and any advice I kept from your videos made me look more professional. Especially the one about the shoe covers before you go in one house. Every time i cover my shoes before i go in a house, the customers look surprised. One detail that i would never think of without your videos.
Been really enjoying your videos man. I'm curious why you choose not to use chem for a basic house wash. I run a softwashing company mainly but we also do a lot of windows so I'm curious about a different perspective.
@@influxservices a lot of the houses down here aren’t really covered in organic growth; it’s mainly dirt/dust/cobwebs. Also Some of the neighborhoods I work in, the houses are incredibly close together, and the houses are super close to the street which is packed with cars who park publicly. Sometimes it just seems like too much of a liability to be spraying chem when there’s hundreds of people walking by and I don’t want overspray getting onto cars, people, or any of the surrounding properties.
Actually often with French doors you can removes the wooden slats in one piece and then a 2 second reinstall after. Easy and simple and so much faster and more convenient. Maybe not always, but try it! I've done it on a high percentage of mine and other similar situations. God bless 🙏✝️
@@michaelcummings8744 thanks for sharing that tip with everybody 🤙. A lot of the homes out here are historic and unfortunately have the slats that can not be removed. Tedious, but worth the effort. Bless you back, and thank you for watching
Hello ! Thank you for your video. I would like to ask, do you have any advice for the first time purchasing a water fed pole? Any recommendations? Any advice about the filter we need to choose with the pole ? Do they come together or separately ? Thank you.
@@harispaterakis917 this is the one that I use, and I love it because it has a 3 part filtration system which makes it so I don’t have to change out my resin or di filter quite so often. windowcleaner.com/collections/water-fed-packages/products/xero-pure-package?sca_ref=3262836.zjpCnDR2Id
🔥⚡️we will be rich just don’t show up on a lambo when you do like this kids are doing😂i got 2y on my belt 620K already in the bank i even have to go seven 7 somtimes and get workers to help me finish my routes
42.00 great work on the final touch up talk. we do that with every job and sometimes adds an hour to high end high access situations just do to the sun showing different stuff thru the course of the day. we always get tips when the customer is in-house and sees that double check. best for business.
Would you recommend that for a newbie just starting? I am going open a business soon and wondering if I should splurge on a WFP kit to make things easier and faster. Any tips welcome, thanks!
@@user-xo9bx9fw2y personally I’d wait until you see that you’re able to book a couple clients, and once the money starts coming in invest into a system. I will say It’s a great system though. My first and only system to date. Next year I plan on investing into a two man system 🤙
1k a day is not possible. You are walking, which means you can’t possibly do more than 50 to 60 per hour. Even if you did 60 an hour, that’s a 16 hour workday without any time for food or breaks. So you did not pass out 1000, unless you hit up apartment complexes or simply exaggerated the number to get views.
Hey Tyler, big fan of the content. Can you outline the scratch waiver in a little more detail? Like how do you typically introduce it? What does that conversation look like? If not no stress, really enjoyed the starting a window cleaning business from scratch video!
