Sara bee if Malema of south Africa has noticed this movement and congratulations Kenyans who are we to denie.Ruto is playing with our minds let him stop.
Ruto is mismanaging and misusing our funds and we shall not take it lying down we kenyans fight hard against bad governance. That luxury jet was the camel that broke the camel's back
Some armed govt sympathisers have been planted to join the protesting youths...and as soon as the police lob teargas & chaos erupts the goons are under instructions to steal, maim & fight....and the resulting violence will be blamed on the Gen Z...which will be an excuse to stop them. Be alert & watch out.
Dont worry nothing bad will.happen Kenyans alws knws the limits . But most important is that going forwd the politics of Kenya will change forever . 2027 will be a new kind of politics thats what is happening .
You can alws count on Kenyans to express themselves when needed . But dont be fooled all these Kenyans love their country . Freedom of expression is very important .
Sarabee, I once saw a Nigerian comment that Kenyans are timid. My thought was that he doesn't know Kenyans. Just because we like peace, doesn't mean we are timid.
That person saying that there was looting or chaos let correct him please the demonstration was very peaceful its the police who started the chaos and thats a fact
You domesticate a hyena and get surprised when it demands more meat than the vegetables you are offering it.#rejectfinancebill2024 #rejectfinancebill2024
That maasai bungle you're wearing is our Kenyan identify out there. Quite unfortunate that some mean fellors who are doing drugs are taking advantage out there then end up tarnishing our country's name out there
Princess we will not watch as ruto want to tax online content creators yet the government has done totally nothing to assist or create a conducive space to do content
I am a Kenyan who lives in the UK and in the UK too, we have protests when things go wrong. Only in non democratic countries where there are no protests. Protests is a sign that democracy works and Kenya is always a trail blazer for our neighbouring countries where democracy is suppressed. Kenyans are fighting for better governance and that will make Kenya even a better country.
As for me i dont regret being a kenyan😂😂😂,,,the guy on a horse asking where the brakes are is a famous tiktoker full of vibes left right and center by the name Diky Sleek😂😂😂😂❤❤
I love my people❤we might have differences here and there but when its time to unite, nothing stops us.Am flying back in the country soon just to unite and join hands with my people to secure our future.❤
That should be the norm. Black American are over here fighting day in and day out for respect and representation because we are hated for our skin. Then we look at you all and the tribalism causes you to ignore all of the signs that you should be acknowledging to move to a united front. The same reason we are here in this land still fighting after 400 years for those people to get their foot off our neck. It seems that Patrice Lamumba, Malcom x, Marcus Garvey, Thomas Sankura, Muammar Gaddafi seem to have all died for nothing because there are still 54 countries, with many still fighting each other.
Thats why i love kenya... I dont mind the pain of of loosing one day after all politics will take center stage and anotther political party will emerge! People perish for lack of knowledge!
These Z Gens are exercising their aliens’ rights, the right to protest is entrenched in Kenya's constitution. It states that: Every person has the right, peacefully and unarmed, to assemble, to demonstrate, to picket, and to present petitions to public authorities. It important to know that we are in a processing of trying to perfect our union called Kenya and protest is one way of doing that. Protest is an invaluable way to speak truth to power. Throughout history, protests have been the driving force behind some of the most powerful social movements, exposing injustice and abuse, demanding accountability and inspiring people to keep hoping for a better future. In Kenya the rights and the things we enjoy is because somebody fought for it. We are independent from the British because of Mau Mau, People like Jaramogi fought Jomo Kenyatta to end tribalism and nepotism. We are multiparty democracy because people like Matiba fought Moi dictatorship. We enjoy new constitutional rights because people like Raila fought for the 2010 new constitution. We enjoy Uhuru park, Karura forest and Kenya green scenery because people like Prof Wangari. These Z Gens are not just fighting for financial bill, but fighting for social justice, equity, accountability and against impunity using modern tactics and I am proud of them. Look at countries like TZ where people tend not protest, there are behind in political space. Countries with good governance have progressive taxes, whereby the tax rate increases as citizens taxable income rises. In Kenya Ruto is introducing regressive taxes regime underwritten by IMF, these are when average tax burden decreases as income increases. The rich pay less and poor pair more. He is also overtaxing start up and many are closing shops and moving to Uganda. Also, investors do not like uncertain in taxes, changes every year, it makes difficult to plan and budget. He is also taxing means of production
