can anyone help me? 0:17 , that "3D View: Poliigon Addon" doesn't exist for me. So i cant use it but then there's a lot more than that "3D View: Poliigon Addon". Please help me
I just realized you don't deed this fancy-shmancy vector and attributes because a road is just a very long rectangle and if you make a real long uv rectangle and get the uv angle right to the image texture then you'll get the same result. And you don't even need to store every vertex' vectors, just get the unwrap right
Also one important tip, don't use a normal plane without any subdivisions, subdivide it, I went installing past blender versions and just figured out that you need subdivided mesh lol
how do i choose the desired render engine. im using corona and choose this on the website. but if im downloading assets they are redshift or something else...
Lightning in 3D is not the same as life. You render your character then render the lighting as 2 separate layers then stack them in Photoshop render it out and Wala done in 1/3 of the time
why is nothing showing up in the group tab for me at 10:35 (i use blender 4.1, idk if that has anything to do with it but i just had to throw that out there)
I just came back from a 1 year hiatus from Blender and found this new Polligon add-on. Wow! Easy to install and with the video can quickly get up to speed. And best part is that you can still use all the Polligon assets you purchased before. Thanks Andrew Price.
Could there be a way to have multiple locations for the library? I have a dedicated drive with all my assets and i store textures in a folder "bank_stills" for materials, textures and other still images, and another folder "bank_3d" for models and such. Would be nice to be able to point towards multiple folder. Just my two cents. Love the new plugin!

Your "vetted" octane textures are super old, still using mix texture workflow, unusable. When are you gonna update that? Also, my entire pc becomes very laggy as soon as I run this plugin. I'm back to downloading manually.
In case anyone having issues, make sure you change "sample nearest surface" to VECTOR, missed this step and spent an hour trying to figure out what went wrong, thought the problem was in my plane or curve data

My PMC add-on doesn't have any of this. It only shows up under the Materials tab. The Poliigon tab is missing in the pop-out side menu. In the Add-On window, none of those options exist. What's wrong with my add-on? Update: For anyone else having this issue. The Add-On inside Blender claimed that the PMC was up to date. However, when I tried downloading directly from the Poliigon website, it turned out to be a completely different add-on from Poliigon. Apparently, Poliigon made a completely new add-on, which made the PMC obsolete.
