Probably one of the better messages I've come across regarding INFJ career alignment. As an INFJ who rides the fence between F and T, human connection isn't typically at the heart of my actions or communications. Rather, I'm more likely to be motivated by fairness and ensuring everyone has the same chance at availing themselves of a given benefit, program, or opportunity. What they do with it is purely up to them, mind you, and I don't need their thanks, praise, or approval for my work. But if I fail in my role of provisioning these things for the more timid in enterprises run by those consumed by their own self interests, then I've failed on an epic scale.

I'm an INTJ. I'm highly emotional. The difference is I don't roll around screaming and kicking my legs whenever I'm upset or angry. There are many devolved and aggressively dim people who say inane trash like, "control your emotions," like that's even possible. It is impossible to control your emotions. Period. You can always control your actions. Period. That's the difference, and it confuses the sin out of people with no self awareness or self control.

Somedays I want to be model, then a business woman, then a environmentalist, then a hacker, a fashion designer, sometimes I even think about starting medical entrance studies. Now I completed my graduation but I don't want to do job related to my degree. Now I'm doing nothing bcuz exactly I don't know what to do. Recently I discovered I'm an INFJ and it's description were exactly my situation. I've many interests, that's also a problem. Everytime I try to choose one, I doubt that decision, overthink and end up overwhelmed. I can't even answer to my parent's question about my plans (They won't get me, it's sure). When you're a middle class, the problem even worses. Now I'm trying to focus on one step at a time, what I want to do now, at this moment. Of course, it's hard but I'm trying for this curse to transform into my greatest blessing.

INTJ here. "ChatGPT sum this up so i dont have to spend 12 minutes watching" Avoid Bureaucratic Environments: INTJs need intellectual freedom and thrive in meritocratic, innovative settings rather than hierarchical, bureaucratic ones. Fit in the Process: INTJs excel in roles that allow them to work on strategy and implement big ideas, rather than just following pre-set procedures. Right People and Freedom: INTJs should focus on working with people who share their passion for big ideas and ensure they have the freedom to manage their time effectively.

I`m debating on what type of training or certification I should consider that best aligns with my 25 years of experience in technical/engineering along with a bachelors in business management. Something that could help command a higher salary outside of my organization since they refuse to promote me accordingly despite proof that several others have done based on their career ladder
@CarolineAdamsCoaching
@CarolineAdamsCoaching 2 месяца назад
Do you really need another degree? You have 25 years of experience -- the right org will recognize that. There are a ton of people with a bunch of certifications that can't apply them in the real world. If you WANT to learn a new topic or build your skill set, go for it. But do it for personal enrichment; you shouldn't NEED it to command the salary commensurate with your experience. Are you a high performer? That's an even better argument to get above average comp.

I noticed a trend with myself as well as other infjs. We have this strong desire to be of assistance and make a big change in the world at a personal level but we put so much of ourselves into our work we get burned out and want to retreat and isolate to recharge. We go from high impact jobs to back of the house dont bother me type of work. Ive worked in daycares and nursing homes and special education and felt i was really making a positive change to factory jobs and back and forth. Its hard to find that balance and feel satisfied. Right now i think i would be satisfied in customer service knowing i could be a positive light to the people i interact with and not risk getting burned out again.

Great insight, Johanna. What I’ve worked on with infj’s is focusing on the environment: making sure others are giving back to you as much as you’re giving AND building the habit of engaging in ways that ALSO take care of you. You can still help all the people, AND we bring in what you what and need as well.

Socionics Model G shows INFJ (IEI) progresses by becoming more involved like an ISFJ (ESI) in public and an ESFJ (ESE) in private. --------------------------------------------- Observation & Socionics proves ALL mbti-SJs actually lead with judging. ALL mbti-SPs actually lead with sensing. Including the introverts!!!!! So: Mbti- ISFJ = ISFj (ESI) leads with correctly defined FiSe = Relations enforced through external sensory actions like nursing. Mbti-ISTJ = ISTj (LSI) leads with correctly defined TiSe = laws enforced ✏️ 📝 . Example: Accounting. Mbti-ISTP = ISTp (SLI) leads with correctly defined SiTe = Sensory pragmatism 🔨 🛠 🪛 🔧 Mbti- ISFP = ISFp (SEI) leads with correctly defined SiFe = Sensory mood 💋 💄 Note: Thankfully Mbti only has the 4 introverted sensor's leading 2 functions wrong. Thankfully, it has the other 12 type's leading 2 functions right after doing a J and P switch ONLY for the introverted intuitives.

I just tested ENFJ and found your insightful videos. The thing about personality tests: the results are only as "good" as our answers to the questions, right? This may sound funny, but what is the best way to go about that? Do we reply from the standpoint of the best times we've had when we felt the strongest and most authentic, or do we reply based on a current reality that may include maladaptive behaviors? My common sense says the former, but then again, there is truth even in our maladapted selves. I know MBTI isn't at the heart of what you do, but would love your perspective!

It resonates a lot with me as an intj who works as ice cream maker and aspire to be a wholesaler in the industry. Most of the time I can't stand with companies' policy where there's so many nonsense and hierarchy, and there's no creative people nor ideas. It resonates with me especially on the strategy part that we have big picture in the future and always review the strategy that we make to see how is the progress ongoing. I hate standard rote works that you do 1 time is equal to 100 times. Ice cream making is actually maths and science and I like it to be calculated so precise; entrepreneurship is my thing because autonomy and independence is just so important to me to the point I want to rule myself instead of being ruled by others. But as you said we need only the right people to get along with which makes it sometimes a bit struggling in socialising with potential customers because it gets a bit drainy to start a conversation with people you don't click.
