Today I’m sharing my favorite 5 INTJ productivity tips to manage your time and energy--and have the career success you want.
INTJs are known for being strategic, laser-focused, out-of-the-box thinkers and doers. But in this extroverted, hustle-based culture, there are so many forces pulling us AWAY from true productivity.
There's a Harvard Business Review article making the rounds talking about how important strategic thinking is--and that no one has time to do it.
Let that sink in. No one has TIME to be strategic. 🤔
So many people are still working from an outdated model of productivity: hustling harder, working longer, doing MORE.
There's a much better way. And it starts with committing to work differently than most people work.
I share my favorite 5 INTJ productivity tips to manage your time and energy--and have the career success you want. I share how to think differently about productivity--and the habits that will help you focus on the activities with the biggest impact.

There's more and more evidence that 4-day work weeks INCREASE productivity--not to mention employee happiness and fulfillment. Comment below if you'd be interested in a video about how to set up a 4-day work week.

I was literally thinking about appending a weekly to-do list to my daily to-do list. You framed it in a very good way. I will implement a series of journals to write down ideas and stick with one at a time. Really helpful video, thank you.

Those were the best productivity tips I've ever heard. It's ironic how my friends think I'm super productive for trying to multitask and seem to succeed, but in reality I end up exactly as you described and I'm here watching a video on how to be more productive because I know I'm doing something wrong (I love having intuition as a primary function).

I have to have a yearly calendar on the wall otherwise I have lists, to do list, pros and cons list, etc and find I have achieved nothing. With my yearly calendar, I can see how the task at hand will effect the next few months with consistent & repetitive events/tasks get added to my online calendar as a reminder. I hate diaries! I always forget to fill it in. Really appreciate your videos!!! Thank you 😊

Wow, @liaperth, the yearly calendar on the wall is next level! Such a good way to see the forest for the trees. I would love to start that habit but am not there yet!

@@CarolineAdamsCoaching I always knew I was different and it drives me crazy why people can't see what I see or I was called a dreamer, stupid, had no idea and so forth. I always saw the best result or end of the project first which is why I need the yearly calendar. Then I fill in the months as I head to the target. I can see risks and trouble spots before anyone else and I have so many ideas and solutions even years before others think of them. I just struggle to implement things for myself but, I'm working on it! 🙂

Yes I also do the same, 1) I keep alive Todo and keep on adding and striking, 2) I walk with 5 sense 3) I block my Calander of specific kind of task. 4) I agree if i give one hr i will do in hr if i give my self 1 week i will complete in 1 week. 5) i switch on ludovico enaudi music and do mediation and think in same session. and I write my thoughts and then read them later after few years.

Hey Hottie, Any thoughts about what a INTJ does in retirement? What are the pitfalls of a brain wired for efficiency, that eschews the burning of wasted calories, but is faced with no "need" to do anything? Seems daunting ...scary if I'm being honest.
