Every thing we call job or career is serving people. If you are teacher you are serving students, if you are Doctor you are serving patients etc.

@@petrosgutema5724 Let's just say, that some people are more self-serving, than helping the ones for whom they are paid to serve them. Being an ENFJ is awesome! An ENFJ IS going to take full responsibility and will go above and beyond. Or, how Jesus Christ put it, 'go the extra mile'.

Hey! Not sure where those percentages are coming from but sounds like your personality type is enfp? And not like one can truly tell from a YT comment, but your energy feels more aligned with that. In any case, I feel your creativity coming through. I’m sorry to hear about your job, but I applaud your decision to not do anything illegal/unethical. Give yourself time to grieve. Even if it was for the right reasons, these changes are still upsetting.

Sanz: hope you found another good place to work and bring value to this world! About the percentages: they are on the scales of the 4 dimensions. When you tested 50% on the extrovert versus introvert scale, it also left 50% for the introvert part of you. I'm close to the middle too. You have 100% on each of the scales and where you lie from the middle, makes up which letter you get. Since you only have 16% on the judging part, that leaves 84% for the perceiving part on the J versus P scale. Thus, based on the correctness of your scores, you would be an ENFP, like Caroline already noticed.

ENFJs are called by different names: the giver, the teacher, the protector. We have all of this in us. All jobs doing that justice, will make us feel at home in a career. For us ENFJs it is very important to make a positive change in this world. On a level that counts. On a level that brings harmony and/or justice. Where people are seen for their strengths and helped to grow in them. Where ENFJs have the courage to address the weaknesses they see in themselves and in others, and define them as temporary obstacles on the way to betterment. We search for more accurate knowledge, which practically proofs its value, to amend procedures, to amend deviations from what ought to be and to better human interactions and goals. We often accumulate different skills and possibilities along the way, since we grow ourselves and feel the urgent need to contribute even better. We tend to sacrifice our own needs for those of others, when we can make a valuable difference in their lives, even at high costs for ourselves. When challenged and seeing a possible path for contributing more, we will often want to go on that path. Someone has to do it. We volunteer. We are the encouragers of others, who also need to receive some encouragement ourselves. We can be quite easily hurt by others, who talk malicious about us. So any career path, where that's included, might turn us off, unless we are That Good at it, that we are willing to pay the sacrifice for others. We will give it a good fight. Injustice can turn us on for good. But if the injustice is aiming at our destruction for a long time, we can become so significantly frustrated and hurt, that our common love for others can even turn into hatred towards the evil doers. There, us ENFJs loose a part of ourselves and even show a tendency to retreat in our pain, as it's become so severe, when we also have quite an introvert part in us. Otherwise we can lash out. Commonly both. I'm an ENFJ in a Very Toxic environment myself at the moment. We give it our all, but if NO reason and logic count, but injustice, incompetence and power abuse reign, and we get evilly slandered continuously, that's where even ENFJs can break. We hurt intensely. We try to find out and analyze how all this could happen time and again, HATE the gross injustice done to us and those we protect, and WILL find some way to rescue us out of this. My next step is trying to heal of what these evil beings did. I literally have to move to another state for that, where better morals and better laws are in place.

Ooh, so interesting, @elizabeth. I’ve seen people test differently based on their environment (e.g. my project management team all tested as Js even tho some of them were clearly Ps). What helped you realize you’re actually an ENFJ?

@@CarolineAdamsCoaching realizing that my feeling is extroverted, rather than introverted. I would read about INFPs value system and think that must be me, because my values are important to me, but realizing that what my values are for me are different than what my values are for other people. I've always thought of myself as an introvert because I've always spent a lot of time alone, but living alone and working at home has shown me I need to be with people more than I thought.

@aleeza First question to ask yourself is what analysis looks like for you and whether you like it. If that really motivates you, go for it. The larger theme of enfjs is to improve people’s lives and serve the greater good. Esp if “analysis” leads to communicating info to people that helps them solve problems for their customers or answering deep questions, that could be super powerful. Then you bring in enfj flair for communicating that analysis with eloquence and sensitivity? Priceless. I think that kind of “analysis” is much different than sitting alone at your desk slicing data in spreadsheets. So it’s less about *what* you do-analysis-and more about *how* you do it as an enfj. I could do the very same job as enfj but HOW I approach it would be different bc im an intj. Study astrology then. It's much more insightful than the 16 personalities. You have some challenging Pisces or Neptune placement in your natal chart if you tend to miss details. If by details you mean you just seek out a bigger picture of things, then it's a Sagittarius/Jupiter matter. Every ENFJ is different based on their natal chart.
