Oh! This book sounds so helpful. The textbooks currently in use are often stiltifyingly boring, and the teacher's manuals are absurd, particularly math...Unless one likes to study interpretations and scripts, written in various color type and fonts around the page.
According to the video, here are the powerful learnings from video in bullets: NLP is the study of successful behaviors, not pathology. NLP focuses on changing the way you think and feel, which can lead to new behaviors. NLP is not about understanding your past, but rather about changing your present and future. NLP can be used to help people overcome phobias, improve communication, and achieve their goals. NLP is a set of tools that can be used by both professionals and laypeople. NLP can be a self-help tool, but it is also designed to be used by professionals to influence others. NLP can be used in education to help teachers teach more effectively. ░
This video is about Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and its applications in business. John La Valle, an expert in NLP, is interviewed by Michael Wozniak and Natalie de Marsay. The speaker, John La Valle, defines NLP as the study of how the brain works along with language and neuro-chemistry. He emphasizes that NLP is not about self-help but about working with others to achieve their desired results. One technique mentioned in the video is submodalities. Submodalities are the way we encode information in our minds. For example, if you have a bad experience with a dog, you might encode the memory with a loud barking sound and a scary image. NLP can help you change these submodalities to improve your experience. Another technique is anchoring. Anchoring is a way to create a link between a stimulus and a response. For example, you could anchor a feeling of confidence by associating it with a certain posture or hand gesture. The speaker also talks about the importance of adaptation in business. He says that things can change quickly and that you need to be able to adapt to survive.
Re: Representational systems. This idea in NLP became solidified for me upon working with a child born blind. No vision whatsoever. I noticed that as I asked certain questions regarding memory she would look up the the left consistently. (she was right handed) That's when I knew NLP was something important.
Question for Dr. Bandler: I train under a TCM Master and also practice coaching as an NLP practitioner. You previously mentioned that acupuncture can trigger the release of oxytocin in the brain. The acupuncturist I collaborate with specializes in "belly" acupuncture, a technique where needles are inserted in a circular pattern around the belly button, targeting every meridian point. Given your interest in acupuncture, I'm curious if you're familiar with whether this procedure creates an optimal opportunity for integrating NLP techniques. Both NLP and hypnosis are known to elicit oxytocin release, and I wonder if the relaxation state induced during acupuncture could be a beneficial time to apply such techniques.
I learned NLP formally with the NLP Center of NY and HMI in Tarzana, CA it changed by life. When one experiences how NLP shows evidence of how malleable our thinking and feelings are, you realize that Dr. Bandler is on of the most important people of out time that many don't know about. Dr. Bandler may not identify with being a spiritual leader, but he really is because he demystifies human emotion. These teachings should be in every school in the world beginning from age 5, and even better from birth.
Wonderfully presented! Great information and makes me look forward to Robert releasing Sleight of Mouth II in 2023. Wow. This year!!! My two cents about tracking language? I’m practicing the so-called Up-Time Trance on a regular basis and it’s pretty much the foundation skill for all of my success in communication in general. Cheers and please keep on listening!!!
This gentleman knows how to communicate. He elevates people, not praising himself. This is generational talent. I am blessed to witness it in real time.
5 years ago richard bandler said he was researching magic.. never heard anything again. This spinning of emotions is something he talked about 20 years ago.. so what's new? Nothing. Even his new book there's 0 new in it.
OK nlp trainers. I'm dyslexic Richard bandler claims I can become 'undyslexic' so help me, tell me exactly what to do to become 'undyslexic' what are the steps? Which book do I read which techniques do I use?
But people with dyslexia literally have a different brain structure. So you can't apply the same strategy. You can only beat it by hard work. It's simular to muscle power. If you are 30 kilo it will take you 10+ years to bulk up. You can't use a brain strategy when the physicality is different.
