The Hubs I got did not come with new bolts. Actually I don't ever recall getting new bolts with any of my cars. You only replace these bolts if they are "torque to yield" bolts, Like Head studs on most cars. As far as me not Torquing them down. The Torque rating is 40 F/LBs, Well most people put about that when they tighten a bolt with a 3/8 ratchet. Thanks for commenting though and trying to catch me doing something I shouldn't have.
Hey Johnny. I don't know if it helps you out but back when I needed springs for a motorcycle shock, the circle track people came to the rescue. I realize that a motorcycle is much less weight that a Maverick but most rear street bike suspension is ran through a linkage that acts like a lever on the shock so it needs a much higher rate than if it was just bolted to the frame from the swingarm. Places like Eibach, Tru Coil, , AFCO others have catalogs full of springs of whatever length, diameter and rate you could ever ask for. Worth look and would probably be relatively inexpensive compared to a mustang 2 kit.
My Turbo Mini is sitting outside the garage. I’ve had to put my time in my other projects first. Hopefully I’ll get back to it soon. It does run and is still inspected!

I am currently running the factory R50 ecu with ByteTroniks on it. My advice is to go with a Link ECU for a plug and play ECU. I am going to switch over to a MAXXEcu here in the next month. The ByteTroniks is not going to work for my current/future needs.

@@powerlifter_garage6211how much power were you pushing in the r50 with 7lbs of boost? I assume the stock block won’t be able to withstand that much before blowing up. Also I’ve seen a lot of people talk about how the compression ratio is too high in the r50 and retarding the timing is a must when adding boost?
How did you know the wheel bearing needed to be replaced, I have a mini myself and I hear a rubbing sound from the passenger side rear and I know it’s not the brakes
Usually you get the car up to speed and if you hear a rubbing or whining noise coming from a wheel, weave back and forth on the road and if the noise goes in and out, then that usually indicates the wheel bearing is bad on that side.

Looked exactly like not enough ring gap. That's what it does to pistons. Its a big risk to boost without adding gap. Some get away with not doing it. Some fail if no gap is added. Its too expensive to gamble with it. When the gap closes fully it pops up and breaks the piston. Boost closes gaps quicker due to increase heat and pressure
Yea, DONT BOOST IT !!!!! it's the wrong lower end and does not support boost..it's a whole different internals than an r53 ( supercharged engine ) you cannot just boost the n/a engine and call it a day. It's not a honda

Need to put the work in, then you get the sponsorships. And you could have 1 million subs, you will take free shit (if it's decent) every channel starts with nothing, only way to build your channel is to put out as much content as possible and find which gets views and keep going. Once you get 1000+ subs it will start to work, if you keep working hard.
I'm tossing around the idea of turbo swapping my R53. I've got a few things done; Cravenspeed 17% pulley, 380cc injectors, Alta CAI, Valeo Single Mass Conversion Clutch kit, Thumper Performance cam, full stainless exhaust engine back with cat delete pipe. It definitely could use a custom tune but it's pretty damn rowdy as it is. I picked up a JCW Head and LSD to install also. I know quite a bit about these cars also.
This is really cool, I own an R50 and would've loved to see the stock W10 boosted, ah well. If you need assistance I can help decipher your stock ECU file for maps etc if you're going stock ECU route
We did have one W10 boosted for about 2 months, but the owner decided to beat the snot out of it and it blew a hole in the block. I'd love to know the software you use to access the stock ECU. Thanks!
@@powerlifter_garage6211 How many pounds of boost was he running? Curious to do my. personal R50 for shits and gigs. I use an MPPS interface to rip the ECU file, use WinOls to identify and modIfy the ECU tables, use MPPS again to flash the file and then Deep OBD running on a Google Pixel (basically INPA) to monitor temps, revs, ignition etc
@@prtn1234 That is awesome, I may need to research into those more. We were running 8lbs on the car. We were also using bytronics to adjust the tables. But I can't justify the cost if I can do it for free. lol
