I'm tossing around the idea of turbo swapping my R53. I've got a few things done; Cravenspeed 17% pulley, 380cc injectors, Alta CAI, Valeo Single Mass Conversion Clutch kit, Thumper Performance cam, full stainless exhaust engine back with cat delete pipe. It definitely could use a custom tune but it's pretty damn rowdy as it is. I picked up a JCW Head and LSD to install also. I know quite a bit about these cars also.
This is really cool, I own an R50 and would've loved to see the stock W10 boosted, ah well. If you need assistance I can help decipher your stock ECU file for maps etc if you're going stock ECU route
We did have one W10 boosted for about 2 months, but the owner decided to beat the snot out of it and it blew a hole in the block. I'd love to know the software you use to access the stock ECU. Thanks!
@@powerlifter_garage6211 How many pounds of boost was he running? Curious to do my. personal R50 for shits and gigs. I use an MPPS interface to rip the ECU file, use WinOls to identify and modIfy the ECU tables, use MPPS again to flash the file and then Deep OBD running on a Google Pixel (basically INPA) to monitor temps, revs, ignition etc
@@prtn1234 That is awesome, I may need to research into those more. We were running 8lbs on the car. We were also using bytronics to adjust the tables. But I can't justify the cost if I can do it for free. lol
