Now this is difference between sailing ad motorsailing.. Well for most. Most don't use battery power!! Hmmm could you have made that passage with your battery bank alone? Also, whats all the gas cans about?
just motoring, no, we don't have that range with our bank. the gas is for three months of dinghy exploring the bahamas and if we need to run the generator. EVERYTHING is expensive in the bahamas, we had the tanks, why not fill them all up :)

Great to see the food drying part. I've watched too many videos of fruit and avacados in hanging nets. You make much much more sense with the rehydration of the veggies etc. Thanks for that splash of reality.
