I think about this scene often. How that couple has fallen into despair. You can just tell by looking at them and their house very accurately, how they spent their last 5-10 years at least. They fell so deep into hell. Fully knowing that, people still have innate desire to be appreciated, and not humiliated and degraded. The wife, still doesn't like to be called skank, by a husband who she fell so far into drugs and chaos along with. Maybe its not related, but it runs parallel to the Frankenstein monster in the original book. He's grotesque and un-natural of a creature to exist, still he craves affection so intently. Its so deeply embedded into us.

You can't expect everyone to know every actors filmography. It's not like they're calling her a prostitute irl, but she has been typecast as someone homely/scary/backwater/rugged. Hooker fits into those roles. She's a really good actress regardless. Anyway long winded but ye relax lol

The twins respect that Hank is a cop and will most likely have a weapon and the ability to defend himself. They vest up and tactically move around him. For Walt they just sat on his bed, no threat detected.
You know, he said the price was "negotiable" when the Twins went and bought the vests and that it was cheaper if bought in bulk. I'd consider the price pretty "negotiated" by the point they shot him in the chest and "bulk" could be "more than one." Considering it looks like he threw down about 800 dollars, so that's about $400 per vest. Is it worth that though? A good Level 3A vest is about $500-700 Level 3 vest is gonna cost you like $600-800 Level 3+ bullet proof vest is gonna cost you like $800-900 Level 4 is somewhere around the $1000-1400 range Level 3A is made to stop your every day handgun round ( 9mm, .45 ACP, .357, etc.) but also handles .44 and .357. 3 (not to be confused with 3A or 3+) is bulkier and what your average police officer is going to be wearing and it'll "stop" basically anything smaller than 5.56 and is designed to take hits from certain 5.56 and 7.62 rifle rounds. 3+ is graded higher than 3 and will stop all standard rifle rounds (5.56 and 7.62) at respective ranges. Level 4? Level 4 is very hard-plated and is the *minimum* on what you'd see on American soldiers and is designed to eat even armor piercing rounds to your chest (albeit your ribcage is NOT going to be happy with you for getting hit and anything more than 2 high caliber rounds is REALLY pushing your chances) There's also an importance in "soft" and "hard" kevlar in the sense that "soft" is kevlar and "hard" is plates. Soft deforms when hit and hard "deflects" bullets, but will crack and fracture from close-range higher caliber rounds, a solid armor-piercing round, or just, you know, getting shot a lot. And with all that said, the armor sold to the Twins was likely meant to be some kind of Level 3A given the softness and (seemingly) lack of plates (as well as the Dealer complaining about his ribs after one close-range handgun shot) and would have costed on the higher end, about $700 would be my guess. Considering they bought it illegally from an arms dealer, you can probably add on another $400, minimum, per vest: $1,100 per vest, $2,200 total. So I guess the Twins are amazing negotiators and that "buying in bulk" discount was high for getting such a great deal for only $800!
