16/6/2022 I’m a 35 year old Australian grown adult man, 6’4, covered in tattos, I like to think I am pretty tough and can take some serious pain but for the last 12 months I’ve had these happen to me 1-5 times a day every single day and as I write this I’m crying for the third time today and all I want to do is find a gun and shoot myself

It took 10 years for my diagnosis. They come twice a year 6-8 week at a time (season changes). I treated my Clusters as migraines, sinus issues, I even had teeth removed before I was properly diagnosed. I don’t with this upon my worst enemy. Just a note. I had these same headaches as a child had a few MRIs then they went away until I was 20. No pharmaceutical drug works for me.
Suffered with these for 10 years. Absolutely horrendous. Only thing that eased the pain was the sumatriptan injections. Tried the oxygen, no effect what so ever.
Besides the diet changes, and more hydration, what other treatment has worked? I've had chronic headaches since February of 2014. In conjunction with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN I've tried medication, botox, acupuncture, etc with very little relief. I no longer take any meds at all. Just didn't help. Thanks for posting your video! Mark
2020 and starting to suffer again, worse than ever on record. I'm scared of going to sleep, my real life Freddy Cruger. Four hours of hell screaming; my neighbours could hear me as they mentioned to me the next day. Oxygen and Injection primarlily.. Unitl Ocipital Nerve block can be had from my Headache specialist. Surley someone has to have come up with a cure by now? I will try magic mushrooms soon.
She doesn’t get this bullshit! Don’t listen to a word she says! Listen ONLY to us who go through this on a daily basis! Lots of videos NOT produced by so called “experts”.
My clusters are in my left eye and the tightness goes to the back of my neck with constant eye watering! Pain wakes you out of a sleep and immediately your blood pressure goes up, you start panicking cause you feel it behind that eye and you wake up so tired and so wanting to go back to sleep ,but, you know what's gonna happen next!! 45 mins to an hour of the worst torture ever! In the worst part of the headache (for me) I planted my face in the couch cushion and lying (doggy position) the only way I know how to describe it sorry!! I rubbed my face into the couch cushion pulling my hair while rubbing my eye and banging my feet on the carpet, Rubbing my face back and forth into the cushion! As the pain got too the peak. I literally had to get up and walk. As any Clusterhead knows, you can't sit still during the attack! Just keep waiting and moving and praying and begging until finally!! You feel the fist that has had your eye squeezed in its hand, finally start to let loose! It goes away rather quickly and there you are on the floor breathing heavily and completely exhausted but so thankful. You crawl to the bed ready to sleep but in the back of your mind know that tomorrow IS another day. I've had these headaches since 2002 on a yearly basis. There is so much more knowledge now on these headaches, although no cure. In 2002 no one knew what was wrong with me. Always diagnosed with sinuses! I felt so helpless and alone. 2008 I googled my symptoms and there it was, Cluster headaches with every symptom I had suffered right there on the screen in front of me. I cried like a baby!! I'm not crazy, it's not just me!! Since then I've still suffered every year, but at least I know I'm not alone and that makes it just a bit better!! The only thing that helps my clusters is the Imitrex injection! Unfortunately they are super expensive even with insurance and very limited in length of use! So many times I've just had to suck it up and wait for the beast to come to me at 12:00am and endure 45mins to 1 hours of unbearable pain. Every night for 30 days during my cycle!! It's not just a headache! It consumes your entire life when your in your cluster cycle. Your life revolves around your cycle! I'm happy to say that I've been cluster free for almost 3 years, however, reading others comments has me a bit alarmed as many of you have been in remission just as long and they came back!! That honestly scares the shit out of me!!
My mother has this pain, and when it happens she just collapse and crys in pain, but she just sucks it up and takes care of me and my sisters. She's getting surgery on December 4. Hopefully nothing goes wrong, I can't lose her Im only 12.
I suffered from cluster headaches over a period of twenty years. The pain was so intense that I had considered suicide several times. The last time I had an episode I was in Phoenix, AZ, in 2012 and took an emergency flight back home to Canada, where my treatment and hospital visit would be covered by healthcare. The doctor there prescribed me prednisone for 12 days (had relief the first night) and then Verapamil. I have been on the Verapamil since 2012 now and have had zero episodes. (Knock on wood) Honestly, if you are suffering please ask your doctor about Verapamil, you might find it works for you too. Good luck to all. Cluster headaches are just the nastiest in terms of pain.
I suffered from clusters headaches since i was about 4 years old a lot of my life was in hospitals. The pain is just too terrible. While staying w my grandma in Mexico she took me to a doctor that works w modern medicine but is more focus on natural medicine and I began a treatment for about a year when I was 8 and I never had an episode again since I was 9 .
