I made a Cryptid hunting book a few years ago using T.T. I've done no marketing on it and it sells by itself occasionally. It is just a simple book where you write your own cryptid hunting adventures.
I put the word REAL in Quotes.. because REAL REAL Artists LOVE people who are CREATIVE..while "REAL" Artists are afraid, have no original ideas, and live in FEAR their ideas will run out. Google history, those "REAL" Artists were in fear when Photography began in the 1800s.. and in the 1990s the NEXT generation of "REAL" artists lived in FEAR of Photoshop .. they were MEAN.. look at the way back machine and read the Forum posts.. yet NOW virtually ALL artists, accept Photography as well use Photoshop.. soooo do you see the Trend? Those "REAL" Artists die off, and the next generation embraces what they hated. A child, and EVERY artist learns from LOOKING and copying what it sees. NO artist can draw, paint or create without STEALING with their eyes.. that is how humans , all humans learn. AI is learning like a real human.. just much faster. Every artist spent hours looking at hands and copying those.. for hours and hours, and days and days.. so all "REAL" Artists are thieves.. and I actually tell them that to their faces.. LOL.. I am a Leo like you are.. born in August..so maybe our signs force us to be Lionesses.. who just ROAR at people who don't use their god given intelligence and just regurgitate, the knee jerk reactions they read, without actually UNDERSTANDING what they are saying.. WHEW.. I have gotten out of the negative groups, and only belong to AI supportive groups for Comic Authors. Authors who write with NovelCrafter and other tools and AI Creative Groups where people are creating the most amazing ART.. ART.. ART.. yes ART.. because it comes from their original MINDS.. I love it. Thank you for your shameless advocacy of AI and all things creative. I have followed you since you did Bundling for FBA.. LOL so, like 10 years.. I have had TT since you created it.. so I am a super fan. Thank you both..
@@pushismano77 I think you could look at that as an advantage. American sellers have a LOT of competition. The majority of niche books aren't translated into other languages, so I imagine there are a lot of gaps that you could fill, targeting your marketing to shops and organizations in your country.

Hi Deni! The free version of ChatGPT should be enough but the amount of prompts you can run in an hour is more limited. I do recommend Midjourney for illustrations - you get a much more professional result than with Dall-e.
Good to know about midjourney. We had Dalle and never could get consistent characters. I'm afraid I'll have the same problem on midjourney though because everyone said you can get consistent characters with Dalle. I went to multiple tutorials and never got anything consistent or even similar.
@@SittinanLiankatawa They're very different tools. Dall-E doesn't really have character consistency and I don't recommend using it for books as the quality isn't great. Midjourney have actually just added character references (and style references) and it works well. It's not perfect - small details may vary but it's still quite impressive. Midjourney gives you a lot of options in your prompts, like weighting different aspects of the prompt too. I'd suggest maybe getting a basic subscription to Midjourney to try it out - I believe it's $10 a month and while you have a fairly limited number of prompts, it would give you more of an idea of the functionality and quality.
