You have some GREAT information in here! I teach business at the college level and have a week or two about the target segment (target market, target audience, whatever term someone wants to use). Your discussion about narrowing (niching) the planner/product is spot on! Especially with a platform like Amazon. First, it's VERY hard to get found for "journal" or "planner". If you can narrow this down to a specific keyword that connects with someone's passion - the listing is much more likely to get found and the person is much more likely to purchase. Plus, as you mentioned, price is not as big of a factor on Amazon. Not only because the audience on Amazon is broad, but because your product is unique. You no longer have to compete on price alone because you're offering more than just a journal/planner etc. Excellent points and great job reinforcing those concepts that help us make sales. I'm just starting on this part of Amazon but have sold physical products for years. The same rules apply there, but it costs a lot more for physical products (especially if you store them at Amazon). Super great video with some excellent advice at the end.❤️ Lost you a bit with the calculations for changing language in the middle but will watch again to understand better. Can I ask- do you use a trackpad or a mouse or a pen? Watching your moves, I think I’d make a ton of mistakes using my laptop trackpad trying to do the same. Hi Deni, I record this on a Mac laptop with a trackpad. You can slowdown the speed on RU-vid if I’m going too fast.
