I create sound packs for modern and vintage synths like the Korg Modwave and Wavestate, as well as the DX7 and Radias. I also demonstrate synthesizer sound design and sound creation.
In addition to synthesizers, I explore computer technology-both new and vintage-along with music tech, gadgets, how-to articles, and smart home technology.

Thanks for the heart ;-) Hope you read this: I have a problem and maybe you can help me! There are two special performances on the "Wavestation Vst": KLC > "01 m7th Heaven" and KLC > "21 Krashed Loop". I tried to put it to the Wavestate. i looked your tutorial, but my mission failed. Its very difficult! For a possible live gig I need these two sounds in one song. If you have the time and inclination, can you create these sounds as a single patch? One for the Modewave and one for the Wavestate? or both for the Wavestate? For the “Krashed loop” patch I only need the 4th part “Bounce”, just BOUNCE. I would be very grateful to you
I think either the NX5R or Karma make the most sense for sampling; as they were probably tweaked less, their sounds might be more recognisable. In my mind, the other synths are more appropriately resynthesised than sampled.
Thank you for the wonderful collection! I noticed that the ".korgcompiledbank" file is missing from the download. I loaded the "Roland D-110 Vol 2.korgbank" into Sample Builder, used the "Save Bank for Plugin..." option, and now it's working perfectly in Modwave Native. Thanks again! Cheers!
Thanks for this terrific demo. I'm trying to get my set-up to recreate the sounds of a keyboard rig from the 1970s. I have a Crumar Mojo (Hammond, Rhodes, clavinet) and a Moog Subsequent 37 (analogue mono synth).I've been trying to get cheesy 70's string synth sounds from the Korg Nautilus, but it's really hard to get the Nautilus to sound bad enough. This Behringer Solina module is just what I need, so I shall order one. I wonder when Behringer will do a Mellotron?
I don't think they will do a Mellotron. Behringer recreate the orignal circuit design and with the tron being tape based I can't see them doing it. I have made some interesting 70s sounds on my Modwave and Wavestate.
I wish I still had my Roland D-10 to sample a bit and see how to turn that into fun patches. I never actually sampled in over 3 decades of synth usage. You did a great job again!
Amazing work, thank you! Hope to see Vol. 2 released soon for the Wavestate. Also - what I wouldn't give for a full sample set of the Roland D-50 for the Wavestate! Amazing sounds/presets on that machine.
