How about if the gay/ feminists divert the sangha into division focusing on their agenda constantly changing the groups focus to haters who don't verbally agree with their agenda and denouncing politicians who don't promote their priorities? Our good works, our deeds, are the response to God's Grace working in our life. Faith and works, actions, are the two sides of the same coin. The only reason we ever came to faith in Christ and repented of our sins working out our salvation is because God put that in us by His Spirit. No one comes to Christ that is not drawn to him by the Father. All that belongs to Christ are given to him by the Father therefore we are His inheritance and He is our inheritance. He took our sins so that we might obtain His righteousness. Our life is now hidden with Christ in God. We have died. None of it from our coming to faith to our obedience is of ourselves. It is all God's Grace working in us. Coming to this realization that it is not of ourselves and that it is all Christ working in us we can say with Paul, I am crucified with Christ and yet not I but Christ lives in me.
Sadly, the Lutheran cult is part of this world involving itself in the political and military establishments of this world. Whereas Jesus said that his followers would be no part of this world.
Saying that Lutheranism is set apart from other denominations has nothing to do with why Lutheranism is true. In Timothy it says "that the church is the pillar and foundation of the faith". Paul was not writing to Lutherans who believed in Sola Scriptura. When Paul wrote to the Ephesians he wrote to the Orthodox Church in Ephesus. That church is still there today. If you want to argue that Lutheranism is true, then you have to demonstrate through sound arguments that the Lutheran belief system conforms to the mindset of the church in say the first thousand years of church history. This video is demonstrating nothing. A Presbyterian could make the same video on what sets Presbyterianism apart from other denominations. It has nothing to do with why anything in the Protestant matrix is true. If you're going to claim that your system is a reformation then by what standard is it a reformation? I can give you one example of why Protestantism is not a reformation. The doctrine of penal substitution in Protestantism is not the view of the early church. They did not teach that God had to be satisfied by some binding standard greater than God himself. That the Son of God had to pay back the Father. None of this will you find in the patristic tradition. You need to make another video explaining why Lutheranism is consistent with the testimony of history. Do you actually possess the mindset of the church?
Lifetime celibacy means lifetime celibaxy. Why are you talking about gay / lesbian / etc. It's not having any sexual desire. So without desire, can there be sex - whether straight / gay / lesbian / whatever?
The praise and worship should be biblical and theological sound but that doesn't mean only 1500 organ music.. We have good teachings and I would hope we reach out more to others

Use to be a UM. Left years ago when the Bible was questioned as to inerrancy, miracles were laughed at, more than one way of salvation, social issues outshone Scripture. It has become a "cafeteria" cult where everything is OK and no one is a sinner.
But Pastor, you forgot to mention that almost every Lutheran church in the world is now far gone liberal, to the point of apostasy. So it all sounds well and good, but the reality is very different.
There are still many Lutheran churches that hold to the true Word of God. Yes, many have gone astray (especially those in Europe) but there are still many who are true Christians

Going back to Lutheran Church after very long “journey” which included E. Orthodoxy and Evangelicalism. I love the liturgy and the fact of hymns and minimal electronics and other distractions. Thanks be to God for the rich musical heritage of the Lutheran Church. Worship that has not turned into a rock band circus.
Were I to become Protestant ( I have no such intentions) I would look into The Lutheran Church. I would much rather be Lutheran than go to a " non denominational" " happy" church.

If I'm being honest, it doesn't really feel like this stuff does anything for me. I think finding happiness through enlightenment from experience and learning and contentment in the end is much simpler for me. That's just me tho. Y'all have fun with this.

As a confirmed back in 1992 ELCA Lutheran I’ll give a thought: The church needs to start doing 1000x more use of technology and virtual services and such. The Nordic and German boomers where the church set up (upper Midwest, Midwest) are very old and there’s not many of my generation and less of the newer generations interested because we feel ignored by outdated teachings and how information is offered. Example: all of RU-vid and maybe 3 services.. from 2018… just sayin’ 🤷♂️ I also feel that the boomer generation wasn’t nearly as educated and didn’t have the word comprehension as later generations. In middle age now, as a last born Gen-X I’m finding some (in my opinion) teachings are in direct opposition to what Jesus tells us in the Gospel and sometimes contradictory in the same few words. I’m sorry, but it is. I’m a university grad, I can understand the English language lol.. as well as people twisting words to make opposite meanings. Forgive me Lord and I ask any readers forgiveness if I caused anger. To many people get burned out as kids in church and don’t read the Bible fully.. the gospel at least.. with adult word/sentence understanding or word trickery being used. The resurrection even.. the most important, most powerful message that at that moment, began Christianity by our Savior’s resurrection.
