Hello, welcome to my channel! Here you will take a peek into my day to day life living in an extremely remote area of western Canada. Follow along in my adventures; from jumping windfall on the back of a trusted horse, hunting elusive game through deep snow, or battling frigid winds on a high mountain lake - my videos follow me in all my endeavours as I learn to become more self reliant and skilled in the life-long art of wilderness living.
Enjoy my original film and photography in wilderness camping, hunting, fishing, trapping, and the building of shelters and other comforts for man, horse, and dog alike - and join me in learning and honing skills of self reliance in leatherwork, tool maintenance, gunsmithing, and more.
I hope you enjoy my adventures and continue to join me on many more. -Nicholas
Nice video! I’ve subscribed. Although I was hoping to see some extreme weather. Greetings from Maine! Looking forward to exploring the channel more. Bravo
I camp this way pretty often actually. You can't do much else without overloading a single horse. Watch True Grit again and look at all the bedrolls, pots, pans, buckets etc that they pull out of their ass without a pack horse in sight, then you'll see what is more real 🤣
Güzel Video olmus cok hosuma gitti. Ama arkadasinin yemegini sonra vermen birde tabagina koymaman cok üzdü beni. Onlar bizlere cok sagdik Kiymetini bilelim ❤🐕❤️
I really enjoyed your video. But I have to wander why you did not take rocks and put them in back and on the sides of your shelter? There were plenty about! I guess you like to have plenty of air flow. I always heard that when using a Ferro Rod, one should use the back of the knife to scrape sparks, not the sharp blade. I hope to watch more of your content. I watch a lot of camping and survivor videos, so I can be Critical at times. Good Luck and Godspeed. Great looking Dog.
After I saw you lay your rife on the ground instead of leaning it against the rock...well that was enough for me...I'd never lay my rife on the ground,,,Just my opinion
All I worry about is rust, and that goes for all my tools. A few knicks and scratches wont be any harm, just adds character 😁 Appreciate your opinion/feedback, hope you give my stuff another chance !
@@wituikbws i understand about character,Im just worried about ground moister getting into the action and I will finish watching,I'm always up for learning new things...
A chair is nice, a hammock between two trees too. Also background music while eating, drinking coffee, in the evening and early next morning. Id camp by a stream and while away the time with my fishing pole then later swim and wash away all that smoke from the fire 🔥 🏕 🌞
