I saw your truck at irondequoit bay today while I was there for vacation! It had a big sticker on it that said “FISH HUNT CHRONICLES” It was also a big white truck with a big trailer! So I saw you guys while on vacation!
What colors do you prefer when fishing Sodas Bay? Referring to your drop shot rigs. We will be fishing there all next week and I was curious what colors we should stock up on?
*Savage Gear* Shine Glide. They're a pretty "bang for the buck" glide bait. Swap the hooks out for #4 Gamakatsu 2X round bends, and it'll sink a little slower.
Showing the multiple casts and even the occasional birds nest gives this video an authentic feel. Wish ya didn’t take your sweet time measuring with that sicker small mouth. Glad you made sure she came back to the bed. Keep up with the content!
Nice. I have the same situation. Bought a aluminum years ago but the kayak has gotten all the attention. Still need to finish it up to get it on the water
You did fine, you will see me soon. Just picked up a oldtown pdl 120. Going to start nykbf at age 67. You guys are having to much fun and hit some great lakes.
Great video dude, scenery is awesome. I’m visiting our family’s farm nearby for Turkey season next week but I’ve never fished this lake. Gonna try to give it a go thanks for sharing!
My Xi3 is very difficult to deploy from my kayak. Any tips? I hold down the release lever and have to really hammer it forward hard with my hand to get it to drop down. Then it shoots forward and deploys very hard when it does.
You have to create a little tension on the big thick power cord of the motor buy using a short bungee cord to compress and create that tension. That allows the motor to want to go forward when the grey release lever is pushed down. You still have to have some kind of cable attached to the tube below the motor head to guide the motor down otherwise it will shoot down to fast because of that tension on the black power cable.
Enjoying the video, good stuff! Little technical suggestion. When you do a "sped up" clip, you should duck your audio down a tad on that clip. Speeding up clips has a tendency to raise the audio, so I would personally duck it down anywhere from -3db to -6db or so. It's all dependent on each individual clip being sped up. Hope you take the tip the right way and don't hate me hah!
