In todays video I head out on the kayak with my dude Forrest to chance some end of the year perch. It’s not very often you’re able to fish from the kayak at the end of December in the northwest. We took advantage and found some gold!!!!! There for watching and I hope you enjoy!!!

Perfect time for it. Looks like you hit a nice spot. Any chance you are going to do a video on your kayak setup? Would like to know specifics and mods you have installed on the rig. I’m thinking about upgrading and curious of your opinion

What jacket and bibs do you have? Looking to buy some cold water kayak apparel

These are the nrs champion bibs and jacket. These aren’t insulated but they are breathable and wind proof. I wear them in colder weather with a lot of layers underneath and I also wear them in the summer when it’s raining with just shorts. This day was about 45 out so it wasn’t too bad with a base layer and sweatpants. I have found 40 is about the limit with this set. They definitely aren’t made for super cold weather. @@fishhuntchronicles I'm from NYC, i see that you fish Cayuga and Oneida. My friend fishes Oneida alot for walleyes. Maybe we fish together when it gets warmer and i come up there.
