I've been thinking of trying Hello Fresh to try some healthy pre-made meals for when I'm very busy with work. I cook everyday but sometimes I end up skipping meals because it can take a lot of time out of my work. I'm wondering if they're worth it.
I ordered there once I’ll never do it again the lobster tails they come squished in one package. I thought it was one then they told me it’s two and it comes in a box.
They have food for older people what happened to the pancake waffle beacon grits rice ham chicken beans corn bread they need to let you pick the things you actually want and just put it in your box
Been looking to cut back or quit my beer drinking all in all but I'm not much of a soda person butt I di like my ice tea. Normally I do like my sparkling Water but, for flavored water, this stuff is really refreshing
Teabox is really for real tea drinkers, not this flavored 'chai' stuff. Real tea drinkers don't drink flavored teas. This company produces single estate teas of quality well beyond this reviewer's expertise.
Just shop at whole foods or costco and eat salads... Or GROW HALF your vegetables. STOP BEING LAZY!!!! This is a good service if you live FAR AWAY from a city and cant buy organic foods!
Most of their soups are terrible and never liked oatmeal. Chicken noodle, tomato, and meatball one are really the only ones. Rest the textures are off.
Edit: A good cookbook, or better yet for an extreme budget is Pinterest, is amazing for people who don’t know how to cook/can’t think of enough variety I’ll never understand why people on a budget and/or people who want to be healthy would ever do this. As long as you have a freezer you can make all of this stuff in much larger quantities (to freeze or refrigerate) for much less per meal with actually fresh ingredients. Especially with better, more nutrient dense meats from a local butcher AKA you don’t need as big of pieces per meal because there’s no gross hormones/fillers (those Kevin’s meat things or whatever they’re called are pretty gross… I got one once and will never do that again). Nevermind the fact that it’s all in airtight plastic. Spare your money and your health and skip this stuff.
We received a gift box of various steaks, chicken, pork chops from Omaha steaks and everything in the box was delicious! Superb. They are a little expensive, but very good quality.
I am not vegan but I love vegetables. If the price was more reasonable and they weren’t exclusively gluten free I would be more likely to try it. (Currently I am using cookunity when I don’t cook) If you’re celiac or gluten sensitive of course gluten free makes sense, but if not, it’s not necessarily healthier or tastier.
I don’t understand why so many of these “healthy” meal services are exclusively gluten free. If you are celiac or gluten sensitive it’s a great option, but for anyone else gluten free is not necessarily healthier, and it’s definitely not always tastier. I find this limits the options available for meals, which in combination with the price, I’m not likely to try it.
I used to get Omaha Steaks all the time. They were wasted on me because I didn't know how to propery cook a steak back then. Well, I guess it wasn't a complete waste because I also got the hamburgers and other stuff.
I had terrible gut health problems the drs and functional drs tried diff treatments and meds and supplements ehat a waste if money i took matters into my own hands HU dark chocolate with no dairy no soy was my go to snack every day. Also drank alkalized water eveyr day!! And stayed away from sugar ,greasy foods ,soy and gluten ! All that along with rebound exercises & trying yo be stress free have greatly improved my gut health and overall health!!
I love Hello Fresh, but when you get that recipe done and you look around, every pot, pan, and spoon will be used. Lot of steps with their recipes. I am looking for something that is already plated.
