Thanks for sharing but I could not find any video from The Retromantic to show the inside of the place. Hope to see the Mayberry-inspired police cars one day! 😎
Not sure what her plans are, I have not heard from her in a year and half. But I know The Carpetbagger did a video showing the inside. You could certainly hop on over to his channel and check it out there. 😉 Thank you for checking this one out.
I live a few minutes away from here, we had a tornado pass through town in August 2020, and it knocked down the light tower you climbed at 26:10, and it landed right on top of the main office building ruins.
My dad brought me to RSA in 1966 when I was 6yo. I was totally taken with it. Immediately upon getting home to NJ I built my own tiny table top version. Sad to see it go.
Wife and I are heading over there in a few weeks to hit their trails. Your video was an excellent intro to Bushkill. I love your pan shots along the trail, capturing some of the relatively minor perspectives. Thanks for a great video!
Thank you for the compliments. I am sure you will enjoy the experience for yourself. Be sure to take some water along with you, and be prepared for some good exercise. I definitely want to get back there again. Enjoy and thank you for watching. Be sure to stop in to the Country Kettle while in the area.
What looks like a switch under the bridge may have been a derail. I was at the Reading Shops area for a RCT&HS event about 40 years ago. That place has really changed.
You should come down to Delaware county I can show some old pennsy rr that were steam lines. There are old bridges and timber left. It ran from 30th street to Newtown square then switched off.
This show is the highlight of winter for me. It's still a month away but I'm already getting hyped for it. I own the John Deere 520 behind you at 1:55 and will have it there again this year along with my Farmall Super AV.
Sir, with all due respect. The city is Wilkes-Barre, not Wilkesboro. I have lived here all my life and know people who had to move because of the mine fire.
It was on the ashtray when I bought it, so I felt like it was just best to keep it there and stick with the name. It truly adds to the history of the truck. Is yours the same color Blue?
