While out spending a day with ‪@JPVideos81‬ we took the trek to check out this Abandoned but not forgotten piece of Lehigh Valley Railroad History. What we believe to be a former freight depo. not far from a former passenger station which is now another buisness.
This former freight station now owned by RBMN which is posted that we did not venture inside, we decided to play it safe and take a look around the outside where we found remnants of the former Erie Line just behind it. Join us as we take a peek at this building build more then half a century ago. Hope you enjoy and don't forget to check out his video as well. A big thank you to JP for inviting me along to see this awesome piece of rail history of a bygone era.

A little is probably spot on, doesn't look like it will take much.

That area has so much history. Thanks for your explanation of that building and what the area is about, it’s interesting!

I am too. It is always neat to see any history, hopefully it will be around for many more years to come.

Great video and location. Seeing it repurposed as a model railroad location would be ideal.

Great video! My grandfather Jack Koehler was a Lehigh Valley historian so I would love to see any Valley history saved! I agree that would be a great place for a museum or layout! Thanks again for sharing!!!!

Cool find RJ and Jay! I can totally see Reading & Northern fixing that up someday if they expand passenger service to that area. It's half hour up the line from Pittston, so I wouldn't rule that out, especially since they have been running Santa trains out of that location one weekend a year. And if not, I second your idea of rehabbing it to house a model train club!

I did find a santa run ticket on the ground close by. I definitely like the model railroad idea myself. 😉

Definitely would make a good model railroader's club for sure. Great photos and bloopers at the end. Thanks for sharing your video of this historic location.

The brick building is indeed the former LVRR passenger and freight station. The former tracks behind the station are the former LV Montrose branch. The larger building behind you was NOT the passenger station. I wish you folks would do some research before you give folks bad information. It really is available and not that hard.
