The last part where i enter 'mysql -u root -p' other thing appeared. It said that ''mysql' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.'
Dude, you are THE ONLY ONE who said that you need to restart mysql service!!! Can you imagine what kind of retards are sitting on Stack overflow??? No any other useful info there, just fucking stop the service and that's it. Much apreciation to you, however this is not the thing that worked for me, what helped me is to paste "skip-grant-tables" into my.ini, also i downloaded MeSQL 5.5 so my.ini is located in Program Files, and not in a ProgmData, so didn't used command prompt at all. But doing some more digging helped me to find that actually if you download .msi file for installing MySQL also can mean that my.ini can appear in a ProgramFIles instead of ProgramData
I tried all the steps in this video. Also got the same message as shown in video at command prompt. But still when I type the command mysql -u root -p it shows the same error. Not sure what to do now. Please help if anyone have any clue.
