My first tandem jump done, with the most fun and kinde pepole, and the quwestion came from them to get in to it and help yeah im gonna do that so i was looking for Some more info so thank allot for the info on you channel it Will be a perfect extra to help me to become in time a great one
Did my first tandem. Was not even nervous hardly until we were hanging out the door and Im looking down. Then I was scared. The first couple seconds of the jump is a stomach drop. Once up to speed I was then relaxed.
Thank you so much! This is exactly what I was looking for in a video!! I am about to start my AFF course, and what I was worried about was the landings, I couldn't find any good explanation on videos (I know I will have everything explained when I start the theory) but I like to be very very well prepared. This videos are great for reference!
By pulling on the risers, front or rear, you change the angle of attack your canopy is rigged to. Pulling front risers gives you a down attitude and that means changing height into speed (!) while the rears are giving you more lift to change speed to lower sink rate. It's fun using the brakes first and pull the front risers. You will fly down like hell. No toggle input then... make a briefing with a well expered diver you trust prior to ANY NEW MANOUVER!!! NEVER RELY ON INPUT FROM VIDS LIKE THAT! They shall inspire you to think about new things and may give you ideas what skill to aquire but they can never be instructional. Many incidents are based on hot guns in a "just give it a try" attitude. NEVER try this in a height where you cannot cut off and shoot the reserve! Meaning at the end of the manouver when you probably have to. So your trouble has to happen above decission height! Go fly and have fun. Play safe. ALways happy landings. Blue sky. And go get an advisor you really trust. These are not the most crazy dudes at the DZ. 🤙
hi there...would you have any resource that demonstrates (or theory / physics of) why toggle spiral gives line-twist (why potentially facing horizon) when let go quickly? i imagine that;s a high speed malfunction on non-student canopies? thanks
Parachute Montreal! I jump there too! South shore? I love burble too. So convenient!

I used to call it a hop and pop at 2500', then when I got to the USA a hop and pop was 5000'. LOL. We used to launch 3 ways and get one or two points in from 5000'
That looks like so much fun. I want to do it but I really don't like that dropping sensation you get in your stomach on a roller coaster. I believe it's not as bad when skydiving because you are already moving at the speed of the plane when you jump.
Have ypu tried moving x2 to annew phone once you have paired it with a phone. I jumped with x2 and had my logs on it. Moving to a new phone, it refused to pair till i factory reset it. I lost all the logs on my x2. No cloud yet 2 years later. Just in case someone is planning to buy the x2, something to be aware of. Logs on cloud sounds like a great idea to me now.
Are the setting stored in the aon 2 for everyday of jump ? For exemple : i set up my settings of alarm the monday. When i will start it the friday, the setting of my alarms will be enregister and the same as I programmed it on monday ? Thanks for your response😊
You turn it on before jumping and then it automatically detects when you're going up in the plane and in freefall. So you just have to turn it on in the morning and turn it off when you're done jumping/at the end of the day :)
