Interesting show. You should do a recap at the end of the season along the same theme. You should also do this every mid August, so you can do year to year comparisons. Keep up the great analysis and commentary!
Welcome Ricardo. Wisconsin fans and residents will embrace you. A great university and every year Madisn is selected as one of the best places to live in America! WELCOME
Have to play the fr OL some this year to get them ready for next year. Going to be worse next year. Will be a lot of 2nd year players playing and 1st year back ups again. Will pay off in a couple years....but might be a little rough next year.
@gtmueller710 maybe. But signing 10 OL in 2 classes doesn't leave much room for transfers. If they r as good as advertised, might have to just go with a couple of them next year
Everyone is ok to “fan” the way they want but I think we have to check some of this hype at the Camp Randall “Arch”, we are setting ourselves up for a big letdown like last year. We have a good coaching staff, recruiting department, and some good players but let’s not get too far out over our skis or we will blow-up in the trees
What's the latest with Amillio Agard. He came in really hyped, and I haven't heard a peep about him. Kinda surprised he hasn't made waves. Is he practicing, and if so, how deep is he buried?
Love the pod, Ryan. For real. Depth is so key. Especially at RB. Such a bruising position. I think you're right, Chez, Tawee, and Jackson. Injury situations or blowouts will give the young guys some reps.
Absolutely was a true competition, not in the coach's benefit to have it any other way, but this is the result most expected. Really hope Locke doesn't transfer as we need a solid backup. Don't think he will given TVD is only here one year, but never know.
If it takes you all of camp to maybe beat out Locke the Hobbit, you are NOT the QB badger fans are looking for. Wisconsin QB lineage at the moment is VD/Mordecai/Mertz Yuck.
Do you think the handling of Braedyn in camp has been, at least in part, to keep him from hitting the portal - with brother Landyn on deck? Safe travels home.
I believe they really want him to believe that he will start next year so he doesn’t transfer. They also need to treat him well bc his brothers a QB recruit aswell.
The defense is better at almost every position group. The linebacker core can support the D-line, which is still a work in progress. Offensively, we are better at every group except for offensive line depth. Improved snapping alone will help the offense. The bottom line? How much-improved is this team from last year?
Honestly I could care less if VD protects the football at this point. I want to hear that he's taking risks, pushing the ball up field, scoring and not worrying if he makes a mistake or not. He's a 5th year sr, it's a given that he can take care of the fb.
Dude! You’re just grinding! Video after video, podcast after podcast, excellent and well thought through points… and on top of that you regularly bring on GREAT guests! 🙌
@@why-even-try-brotendo Ha! True, but we don’t seem to have any depth on both lines. We could probably lose three or four running backs and still be good. 😂
In Blazek I trust. I still think the OL play/health and the ability to run the football is the key to the season. Defense looks good. WR separation was an issue yesterday.
The Oline will be fine. Cayden Green was a TR FR last year for OU, & was starting by game 7. The only issue is can VD handle pressure. He was only sacked 10 times last year, & was bad. That's not happening this year. He'll be facing pressure. Is he a 9+ win QB or not? If he is, we're good, if not it's gonna be a long season. Our OL even if it's top notch is not going to be as good as MIA's was last year. He has to be better.
